My last summer vacation was memorable and meaningful for me. I experienced a lot in this summer vacation.

This was my first summer vacation since I entered the college. When the holiday began, I went to Suzhou with my several friends and travelled all over the beautiful city. There were so many beautiful sceneries, which gave me a deep impression. After finishing my travel with my friends, I came back to my hometown. Then, I found a teaching part-time job. From the job, I got a lot of things that I have never learnt in my daily life. I realized the importance of patience. I knew that if a teacher wants to teach his students well, he must work harder and pays more attention to his students. No matter what things we do, I think only by working hard can we succeed in anything we want to make it. What a meaningful summer vocation I had!

In short, this summer vacation is nice and wonderful for me.

My Summer Vacation

Last summer I went to Yangzhou. It is one of the most beautiful places for visitors. My summer vacation was great!

I went there with my friend Sally and her parents. It took us six hours to get there by bus. It was a long distance journey. Some of us were asleep, and the others were listening to music on the way. We arrived in Yangzhou at seven o’clock in the evening.

Yangzhou is a poetic place. The sky is blue, and the air is clean. Everything can make people relax. The guides there are very friendly to us, and the scenery is quite wonderful. I took a lot of photos .Of course, I bought something special for my parents. They were so expensive that I had to buy few presents. However, I bought nothing for me, because I didn’t really see anything I liked.

We returned to our city on Sunday evening. When we got off the bus, we were hungry and tired. But we felt happy. We enjoyed our time.
