事实上书信或应用文写作根据其内容的具体要求我们可以很容易地归类为以上几种。所要注意的是写作对象（朋友、校长等），我们应该根据不同的写作对象使用不同的语气。书信的最后不要忘了说：Yours, XX或Sincerely yours, XX。
另外，一篇好的作文应该避免语法和单词拼写错误（尤其是在文章的开头），思路要流畅，语言的逻辑性要强。应试作文应分为3-4自然段，每段首行缩进。在此基础上可以尝试长短句交替，如果能力允许，最好能用上几个嵌套的长句。当然如果对长句的句子结构不太熟悉还是要以表达清楚为准，不要弄巧成拙。

无论在哪里，帮助别人，给别人快乐是美好的；是暖人心脾的；在夏天，给人丝丝凉意；在冬天，让人心里热乎乎的??
今天，我就遇到了这种美好的事情。我与妈妈乘着公交车，去宁波看眼睛。在去的途中，我发现了一个位子，我欣喜若狂。但是走过去一看，却发现那个位子一半已经湿透了，便由衷地叹了一口气。坐在旁边的一位大姐姐看出了我的烦恼。
就从她那个鼓鼓的背包里，小心翼翼地拿出一包餐巾纸，从里面抽出一张来。温柔地递给我，说：“位子湿了吧！呐，给，有餐巾纸来擦干净吧！我非常感动，点了点头，就从那位大姐姐那修长的手指上轻轻的接过那张餐巾纸。”
仔仔细细地擦这半边座位。我一边擦心理一边想：“这个世界上的人分为两大类：一是坏人，因某种途径而思想歧差，走上了不归路；另一种是好人，思想道德，时常帮助他人，给予别人所需要的，自己也在帮助他人的同是得到了快乐。我要做第二种人。”

当我周围的同学知道了我没带文具盒时，人人都伸出了友爱之手，打开自己的文具盒，这个借我一支铅笔，那个又借我一块橡皮。看着她们那一张张热情的笑脸还有那一双双援助之手，阵阵暖流温暖着我的心灵，有如一束阳光照进了我的心田。
用爱的大伞撑起,装着我们共同的感动,盛着我们和、共同的欢笑.爱需要复制,爱心需要粘贴.我相信,滴水之恩也能得到涌泉相报.我相信,只要人人都献出一份爱,世界将会变成美好的人间.

于是，这个哥哥把我带到了总台，告诉阿姨，阿姨对着小话筒开始说了起来：“欢迎大家来到洪城大厦！有谁孩子不见了，请到总台来联系，谢谢合作！”
最后，妈妈把我接了回去。
虽然只是一件小事，可却给了我一种感受：人间处处有真情。

星期天，小明出去玩，路过军烈属的家属院，他看见有一位年迈的老奶奶拿着米袋站在军烈属院子的门口。于是小明跑到老奶奶的跟前，问到：“老奶奶，您要去买米吗？我帮助你吧。”老奶奶说：“是的，我还是自己去吧。”看着老奶奶迈着沉重的脚步向粮店走去。小明急忙拦住老奶奶说：“还是我去吧。”老奶奶说：“谢谢你，可是你能拿动米吗？”小明想了想说：“这里有小推车吗？”老奶奶说：“有啊，你真是一个聪明的的孩子。”于是老奶奶把小推车推了出来，说：“过马路要看车，不能和机动车抢道??”
小明推着小推车到了粮店，买好了米，把米放在小推车的后边，可是前面太轻了，后边太重了,车子差点就翻倒了。于是小明就把米放在放在车子的前边，可以前面又太轻了，后面又重了，小明抬车起来非常吃力.小明灵机一动，想出了一个好主意：把米放在小推车的中间，不就可以了吗？！终于成功了。
小明回到了军烈属的家属院,把米送到了老奶奶的家中，老奶奶夸小明是个聪明的好孩子。回到了家，小明把这件事情告诉了爸爸妈妈，爸爸妈妈夸小明是个懂事心细的‘男子汉’。小明的心像吃了蜜一样甜，心想：以后我要多帮助人。
