不少人在使用一次性纸杯时都发现，有些纸杯一加水就软塌塌的，如果装热水还有股刺鼻味儿。如果你遇到这些“异常情况”，说明这纸杯含有毒物质。通常，差的纸杯表面有杂质、杯子很软，并且由于苯和重金属超标而散发出刺鼻的油墨味。

“杯口处无印刷是对消费者的保护。”国际食品包装协会常务副会长兼秘书长董金狮称，目前国内没有食品级油墨的概念，也没有可用于接触食品的印刷油墨。喝水时嘴唇接触杯口，印刷图案里的油墨可能会被摄入，尤其是含苯油墨对健康更不利。同时在套杯子时，杯子底部有印刷图案，也容易把颜色蹭到另一个杯子的内壁上。

一般市面上常会看见有摊商贩卖用纸杯装盛烘烤的酥皮浓汤，但有专家却表示，纸杯最多能承受的耐热度只有100度，绝对经不起烤箱高温烘烤，饮用这种纸杯烘烤的酥皮浓汤，会把塑毒喝下肚，造成肝肾负担。而一般烘烤酥皮浓汤的烤箱温度最少都有220度以上，纸杯在耐不住高温的情况下，所溶出的塑毒即会对人体造成伤害。

塑化剂是生产一次性餐盒的必要材料。一般这种塑化剂溶于油，如果是热油，溶解多一些，因此食物中含油的，会有少量塑化剂溶到油中，然后转移到食品中，如果长期或者过量接触塑化剂，会对身体产生一定的影响。使用一次性餐盒需辨别优劣，合格餐盒可以放心使用。应尽量避免使用一次性餐盒盛放高温食品、油炸食品、醋与料酒混合食品。

可在实际制造过程中，并没有人用那么多水。有报道说：台北市面上93％的一次性筷子，均采用二氧化硫熏蒸的方式漂白，熏蒸的时间越长，筷子越白，闻起来也越酸。制造者在以二氧化硫熏蒸的方式漂白后，通常忽略水煮步骤。残留的二氧化硫和其它物质结合便会成为亚硫酸盐，而亚硫酸盐在医学界被认为可能导致哮喘。而我国至今对一次性筷子仍没有出台具体的卫生检验标准。

有资料显示，一次性筷子是日本人发明的。日本的森林覆盖率高达65％，但他们却不砍伐自己国土上的树木来做一次性筷子，全靠进口。我国的森林覆盖率不到17％，却是出口一次性筷子的大国。据有关材料介绍，中国市场每年消化一次性筷子450亿双，耗费木材166万立方米。仅北京一地，每天就消耗一次性饭盒、筷子80万套；一年365天就是29200万套。一双一次性筷子重5．5克，29200万双筷子总重1606吨，折合木材3212立方米，还不包括皮、心、

边和锯末等废料。早有专家指出，像中国这样拥有12亿人口的大国，广为使用一次性筷子是对林业资源的极大浪费。

然而，正是这种吃一餐就扔掉的东西加速着对森林的毁坏。森林是二氧化碳的转换器，是降雨的发生器，是洪涝的控制器，是生物多样性的保护区。这些功能决不是生产一次性筷子所得的效益能取代的。

一次性电池：

日常使用的电池有大量的重金属污染物——镉、汞、锰等。当他们腐烂废弃在自然界时，这些有毒物质便慢慢从电池中溢出，进入土壤或水源，再通过农作物进入人的食物链进入人的食物链。这些有毒物质在人体内会长期积蓄难以排除，损害神经系统、造血功能、肾脏和骨骼，有的还能够致癌。随手扔掉的废电池中含有的金属可能有一天就被自己吃下。
