第三单元是学习有关Good behaviour的教学内容，讨论的是公共场所里的行为举止。要求学生能用祈使句的肯定形式和否定形式描述公共场所的行为举止。
我在教授第二单元第三课时，充分地突出了本单元的主线Good behaviour。在上课伊始，为了导入今天所学的课文内容，我先引导学生把前两课的内容简单复习了一下。让学生回想一下：我们在这个单元中学习了在哪些公共场合的哪些文明行为，用上我们学过的句型。这样既复习巩固了之前学过的知识又为接下来学习的课文做了铺垫。接下来，我又用一句话来导入新课，今天
在第二部分，我通过分段播放课文光盘，让学生找出每一段中含有“don’t”的重点句型，板书于黑板上。并通过设问，让学生了解这些句子通常是在什么语境下使用。通过多次播放课文录音并跟读，学生对课文内容已经掌握比较熟练。紧接着在第三部分的拓展环节，为了让学生有张开嘴多说的机会，我创设了文明礼貌我知道这一环节让学生对所学知识加以运用。
这节课从总体来看，学生对课文的内容掌握得不错，但是对课文中的重点句型掌握得没有想象中的好，学生往往齐读的时候都能读下来，但是单个读的效果不好。这与我重点句型操练这一环节操练得不到位有关。我只是把句型板书在黑板上，在单词教了一下，简单领读了几遍，便以为学生可以掌握，实际上学生的掌握程度并不理想。在以后的教学中我要加强对重点句型的操练力度。其次本节课中有两个同音不同形的单词，“deer”和“dear”，我在课堂上没有对这两个单词做出区分，只是简单领读，学生区分得不好。单词卡片的使用不充分，应该英文和汉语正反面反复使用。

一、 教材分析
本课处于Book 5的Unit 14，它与前面学过的Unit4有着内在的联系。在Unit4里面，学生学习了一些动物，如：frog. Kangaroo. Turtle等等，以及它们的能力， 而本课的重点之一是学习动物的特征，通过本课的学习，学生可以更深入地了解动物，整合语言知识点，所以教师调整教材的顺序。在学本课之前，学生已有下面的语言知识基础：

对于五年级学生来说，说单个句子并不难，但要连贯运用语言就表现得比较吃力了，所以老师要创造机会让学生综合运用这些句子，让学生主动构建语言知识。
二、 学生分析
本班学生从三年级开始学习英语，对英语已产生了一定的兴趣。学生在四年级已接触过如何描述一个人，如：She has big eyes， she‘s beautiful.等。在这节课，主要是学习如何描述动物。根据学生原有的知识水平，老师在这节课里更注重的是创造机会让学生自主、探索、合作学习，以及培养学生综合运用语言知识的能力。
