【Abstract】It is true that learning English well is not very easy. By summarizing my English study, I obtain some good ways to learn English. The first way is to learn English in class. The second way is to learn English in practice. The third way is to learn English in daily life. This paper gave the methods of English study and the advantages of these methods.

Introduce

It is of great importance for me to continue to learn English in college. During these years, I have made some progress and gotten some methods to learn English well. I am of full confidence that someday I can conquer all the difficulties and make achievements.

1. The first way to learn English---studying English in class

1.1 Making sure you won’t go wrong with grammar

In English study, grammar is one of the most important factors. It is the foundation of any kind of communication. Every time before the class began, I always came to the classroom very early, and then prepared lessons before class. So I have never been late or absent for English class in this term. The development and wide spread of English language has led to the internationalization and localization of English language,during which English language is widely used in international communications by people with different mother tongues,in addition,English variations on different levels and local varieties have emerged. ①

1.2 Doing enough exercises

China English is an objective existence as a performance variety used in China.It is based on standard English and possesses Chinese characteristics.②

This term I spent much more time in English than any time before. As I quited my part time job this term,I fucused all my attention on study.Every time before the class began, I always came to the classroom very early , and then prepared lessons before class. So I have never been late or absent for English class in this term. During the class, I always listened to the teacher very carefully and took notes on my English book.

2. The second way to learn English---studying English in practice

2.1 Improving the ability of listening and speaking

2.1.1 making a good plan for your study and practice it strictly

Reading comprehension is also an important part when you take an English test. Reading comprehension test can help you to improve vocabulary, grammar, and logical thought ability. There are some tips for you to improve reading skills: - Practice reading every day. You should read different fields to improve your vocabulary.

- Take note all new words and learn them. - Try to answer all the questions.

- After answer all the questions. Check the key and read the passage again to find out the mistake you have faced and deeply understand the passage you have read.③ Here are some strategies for improving your comprehension skills. Skim: read for the brief idea or overview. Scan: read for specific details or a specific reason.

KWL: determine what you Know about the topic, what you Want to know, and what you Learned.④

My English study

Now I study in a middle school. I have many subjects to learn. I love English . It ’s important ,isn ′t it ?

Learning English is just like learning any other languages, is a hard work .When I was a little girl ,I was interested in singing English songs . I have listened to the teachers and taken notes carefully in class since I entered a primary school .

Now I have several teachers of English since I began to study . But it seems to me that the present teacher is the best one .He is an old Enlish teacher .He let us act out in English before class begins .We get happiness and in the meantime ,I improve my English study .

I will soon answer them if others ask me the questions .While I was not sure that the key is true ,I began to find it .

I spend more time practising English than before every day .I like hearing English passages that are interesting .

My English level is progressing slowly .I have formed good habbits ,they bring me wisdom .

English is my favorite subject and I once won a second prize in Sichuan English Reading Comprehension Competition for Middle School Students.Now I'm good at English and one of the best students at English in our senior grade one .[Now I think I can use English better and I am one of the students in the class who do best in English examinations.] .How did I learn English?

First,I read a lot of English,beginning from junior time [the time when I was a junior middle school student ].I read many English stories and jokes.I didn't get bored because the stories and jokes were interesting.Thus I have got to be more and more interested in English and learned a lot of the language through reading widely.

Second,I have kept a diary in English.I just write down what I do,what I see and what I think of every day.I try my best to express myself in the most simple words.In this way Ihave improved my writing ability a lot.On the other hand,this diary writing has also helped me to form the habit to think in English.

????I'm a high school student now.I am weak in English.And most students in my class are good at English.So I have to improve my English and catch up with them.I make a English Study Plan.Firstly,I will spend 20 minutes remembering words every day.I find that I only remember a small number of words. Secondly,I must listen to the teacher carefully in class.And I will do the homework every day.Of course,listening to the English tapes every day is necessary.Sometimes I will read some English writings. Thirdly,I will often use English and communicate with classmates in English.Every Sunday,I will learn English on the Internet. This is my plan.
