Where are you from?你回答对了吗?

绝大多数人真的不会回答“Where are you from?”这个从小学就学过的基础英语口语,或者说大家从小学的回答就不恰当!那正确的回答是什么样的呢?我们以实例来解说。

比如说,你在上海的外滩遇到了一位慈眉善目的外国老头,你上去搭讪。在交流完了姓名之后,老外问你:Where are you from?

今天我说课的内容是小学英语五年级上册第八单元。本课主要以询问他人来自某个国家为话题,并通过任务设计,让学生在感知、模仿、学习、体验的基础上逐步达到真实运用语言进行交流的目的,为后一阶段的学习打下坚实的基础。 依据基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标和本班学生的实际,师生商定学习目标如下:

1. 知识与技能目标:学生能够听、说、认读单词:visit france australia ect和短语

能够在情景中理解、会说、会用Where are you from ?以及 where is she or he from 及答语 I am from .. ,she is from ..,he is from ..,

2. 能力目标:学生在学习单词和句型的过程中,学会合作、学会探究、学会倾听、主动参与实践。

3. 情感态度目标:对学生进行良好倾听、预习等学习习惯的养成教育,培养学生热情友好和热爱生活的美好情感,锻炼学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神。

4. 文化意识目标:中西方文化背景的差异,让学生了解西方国家.结合本课学习目标和本班学生的实际,我认为本课的重点为句型:Where are you from? I am from ..

为了突破教材重、难点,我采用了出示任务,创设语境;围绕任务,灵活操练;完成任务,实际运用;多元评价,整合认知这四个教学环节。也就是说:在教学活动的开始,要紧紧围绕任务设计,充分利用多媒体课件、卡片等直观教具和教学手段,结合学生生活实际为学生设置多种语言情境,使英语单词、句子与它们所表达的意义直接挂钩,使学生积极地去体验与实践,讨论与合作。在初步掌握设计内容之后,我又立即带领学生围绕设计的任务进行多样化的灵活操练,同时将学生带回教材进行系统的感知,并做适当的认读练习。然后从语言运用的角度和学生的生活实际出发,指导学生抛开教材对话框框,将任务设计加以真实运用,进行逼真的信息交流,实现灵活地、创造性地运用英语进行交流的目的。同时,为使评价成为学生知识、情感和能力的增长点,将多元、多样化的评价方式贯穿在课堂教学的始终,促进学生新旧知识到整合。

依据英语课程标准并结合本课教学内容,我在采用任务型教学途径的基础上,主要采用了愉快教学法、情境教学法、小组合作法、师生互动教学法等方法培养学生综合语言运用能力。

根据学生生理和心理特点,以及他们的认知发展水平和情感需要,引导学生

通过观察分析、协商探讨、参与实践等方法,循序渐进地掌握本课的学习内容。 依据英语教学的直观性、趣味性、实践性和多媒体课件的优势,我把英语课堂教学与课件巧妙地整合在一起,学生则利用自己的照片等实际生活中的媒体积极参与活动,对提高教学质量起到事半功倍的效果。

本着“兴趣是最好的老师”和“关注每一个学生的发展”的新理念,我设计的本课教学流程如下:

Step 1 Warm-up 热身互动,进入情境

《英语课程标准》指出:学生只有对自己,对英语及其文化,对英语学习有积极的情感,才能保持英语学习的动力,并取得成绩。因此,在教学过程中,我特别注重激发和保持学生学习英语的兴趣。

我首先通过播放歌曲:where are you from ?

依据温故知新、循序渐进的原则,我通过布置学生课下自由结组,在能力允许的范围内,自创情景,在课上做声情并貌表演的形式,复习所学过的内容。给孩子们提供一个展示创造力、想象力,体现合作精神、集体智慧,品味成功的小舞台,激发学生再学习的强烈动机和求知欲。

Step 2 Presentation 任务呈现,小组协作

《英语课程标准》指出:教师要灵活地、创造性地使用教材,我在上这节课时打破了书上的教学顺序,即先学句型、后学单词。

首先学习 what can I do for you ?I would like to...

依据以旧带新的原则,我先用以前学过的句型 What's your name? My name is...?

引入新句型:Where are you from? I am from ..

接着利用多媒体课件放手让学生通过师-生,生-师,生-生,小组练习等各种方式进行各种形式的操练活动,使学生在图文并貌的课件下乐学、爱学、会学、学会

强调教师作为小组中普通的一员与其它成员共同活动,不再充当唯一的信息源,把大量的课堂时间留给学生,使他们有机会相互切磋,共同提高。最后2人一组运用真实姓名进行交流,使学生能够更深层地理解和把握教材

Step 3 Practice 围绕任务,趣味操练

把学生带回教材进行整体感知。针对小学生模仿能力和记忆力强的特点,我再次播放课件,通过让学生静听、跟读、模仿来学习语言,加深对教材的理解。通过全班活动<整体感知>,个人活动<独立探索>,两人活动<加深交流>,小组活动<协作学习>等多种操练模式,从控制性操练向自主性操练步入,层层递进地深入理解教材。通过足够量的语言操练,建立新的语言学习习惯。

Step 4 Additional activities 完成任务,灵活运用

通过小组协作学习进行成果展示,在共享成果的基础上加深对所学知识的意义建构,实现英语语言综合运用能力的培养。

Step 5 Assessment 多元评价,整合认知

根据注重过程评价,促进学生发展的理念,我将多元、多样的评价贯穿于课堂教学的始终。在活动过程中,时时对全班各个小组的表现进行公平、公正地评价,并以激励为主适当地给予红花、星星等奖励。不仅激发了学生学习英语的强烈愿望,而且培养了学生团结协作的精神,同时又使学生体验到了成功的喜悦。在课程即将结束前,全班总结各组的获奖情况,表扬获胜组,鼓励其他组,号召大家发扬互帮互学的精神,使学生在“比、学、赶、帮、超”的良好氛围中得到不同程度的提高。

1、人称代词作主语时,要用主格形式;作宾语时,要用宾格形式。如: (1)He loves her,but she doesn’t love him. (2)Excuse me. Are you Liu Tao? (3)We often play with them.

通常放在动词let, like, help, give, ask等的后面,宾格作宾语 Let’s go .(let’s =let us) Can you help me?

2、人称代词的排列顺序:

单数人称代词通常按“二三一”排列,即you、he and I;复数人称代词通常按“一二三”排列 即we、you and they.

(1)You、he and I are all primary school students. (2)We、you and they are good friends.

3、形容词性物主代词(my/your/his/her/its/our/their)+名词,表示是属于谁的东西。 I love my country. I know your name. 拓展学习:
