But others, in contrast, hold that further study in China is the best choice. Personally, I maintain that it is better for the graduate students to pursue graduate study in China. My statement is based on the following three reasons.

Firstly, students don’t need much time to adapt to the environment so that they can pay attention to the study. If the university is in China, students can adapt to the new environment quickly. As a Chinese, we are the perfect citizens who know our culture well, including language, customs, food, education system and so on. You spend less time on adaptation than others, so you can study better than others. This may be a good point that you can study better than others. It is really beneficial that you can devote yourself to study within a little time.

Secondly, there are many good universities in China which are good choices for students to further their study today. Many graduate students choose overseas school to further their study because they think there are no good schools in China. But with the development of our society, big changes take place in our country. Nowadays more and more people choose the universities in China, such as Qinghua, Beida, which can offer a good environment and resource to students. Also, there are many distinguished teachers in those universities, so you can learn more.

Finally, further study in China can help you save money. As we all know, studying overseas costs a lot of money, while most students are not very rich in China. If you persist in studying overseas, this must put a big pressure on your family. To make matter worse, you may have to take a part-time job to make money for your life as you study, and which will have a bad effect on your study. However, if you choose to study in China, you won’t spend too much money so that you can concentrate on your study and enjoy your life. If you want, you can go travel to expand your horizon and acquire the skills that you can’t get in school.

From the above, we can easily see that study in China has many advantages. You are familiar with the environment and you can save money at the same time you can also study well. I am not turning a blind eye to the disadvantages of furthering study in China, but its advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, it is better for graduate students to further their study in China.

Last Saturday, my friends and I went to climb the West Mountain. While climbing, we enjoyed the sunny weather and a beautiful view. We were very delighted to reach the top without much time or effort. However, we found it more difficult to go down, so we went slowly and helped each other when necessary. Though I took care a lot, unfortunately I slipped and hurt my leg badly and could hardly stand up. One of my friends came to me immediately and carried me on the back till we reached the foot of the mountain.

I was very thankful and felt proud of having such good friends.

Last week, my friends and I enjoyed an unforgettable Saturday climbing the West Hill. The scenery and fine weather did make us refreshed, but it was the help and care from friends that made this experience most appealing.

We set out early in the morning, expecting to enjoy the fresh air and gentle wind at the West Hill. In high spirits we climbed, and felt that we had never been that excited and energetic for a long time. It was only ten o’clock when we reached the top, took photos in funny gestures and sang songs aloud to express our happiness. As we went down the mountain, Xiao Ming offered to take our hands and help us get down the abrupt stones while standing on an unsteady rock. It really astonished us when the rock slide, made Xiao Ming slipped and caused his leg hurt seriously. Being unable to walk due to the pain, Xiao Ming insisted that he wait until the medical aid came. Though we hadn’t experienced such an accident before, my classmates decided that we would not let him alone. We took turns to hold Xiao Ming on our back until we finally got to the foot of the mountain, tired for the long journey, we were glad to know so strong the friendship was that we could make it even in such a difficult situation.

This activity taught me a good lesson on friendship and support. I will cherish this precious piece of memory in my heart forever.
