这是一堂笔者根据新的课程标准,结合本人对词汇教学方法的实践积累和思考进行设计的一堂探究课。该课创造性地选择了授课内容,对使用性较强的词汇方法进行了整理与补充,改变注重传授知识的倾向,采用“任务型”教学模式,进行了一次实验和探究。

该课的中心话题是“三鹿毒奶事件”,内容引发学生对食品安全的关注和思考。该课旨在启发学生去思考自我梳理知识和自主学习的模式,让学习过程有一个延续的趋势。同时,提供一次实际运用英语表达交流思想的机会,增强使用英语的信心。

三、学情分析:

笔者首先考虑为什么和怎么上这节课,使教学目标的设计实在可行。 笔者的授课对象是属于三流水平的一个互助结对县中学,这个班为普通平行班,英语基础较差,但是大部分学生的思维活动、学习热情、表现欲望和合作精神是可以在平时的教学中不断提高和培养的。怎样使得一节课对学生今后的学习有所思考和帮助,也是笔者要考虑的问题。综上因素,根据学情,笔者采用活动式的教学方法上一堂关于词汇学习的课,期待对今后的学习中新旧知识的连接有所帮助;同时注意运用鲜活真实的语言材料吸引学生,提高学生答题的兴趣,同时便于设题。兼顾设计内容简单化,便于调动全班学生的积极性,在互动中实现教学任务和目标。

四、教学目标

1、学习并改善词汇学习的效果;

2、能根据词汇的构成特点,归纳整理学习和记忆的方法;

3、增强社会责任感,关注和谐社会的发展。

五、设计理念:

高中英语新课程标准加强了对词汇的要求,高中阶段从原来的1800~2000个增加到3300个单词和400~500个习惯用语或固定搭配,词汇量掌握的多少在一定程度上制约着学生运用语言能力的高低。

英语单词的学习既是一种挑战,又是一种磨练。新教材的词汇的特点大致可以概括为新,长,杂,多。学生投入大量的时间和精力但是效果不甚理想,影响了学习的信心和积极性。怎样继承传统的词汇教学的精华,把行之有效的方法介绍给学生是笔者一直思考的问题。掌握生词和短语除了坚忍不拔的毅力之外,还需要两样东西:已经掌握的单词和短语和不同的记词法。因此,将生词与熟词以各种方式捆绑记忆,是诀窍之一。心理学研究表明,经过归类的知识要比零散的知识记得牢固。因此,综合运用多种记忆法,将词

汇以链式或发散式的形式联系,而非一盘散沙,是诀窍之二。这样,既可以系统整理要记忆已经学会的词汇,又可以使其以有效的方式扩展词汇量。

八,课后反思:

1.此次研究课笔者贯穿了一个提纲挈领的中心线索,即以话题为中心, “关注食品安全,创造和谐社会”为主线,围绕“三鹿毒奶出现——婴幼儿身心受害 ——医生救死扶伤——母亲诚惶诚恐----乳品生产者郑重许诺---孩子恢复健康”的连贯思路的精心创设,为整堂课的教学互动提供了一个载体。一首动人的歌曲,要有一条优美的主旋律。一堂有了教学主线的课,学生的注意力和思维活动就会集中和紧密。

2. 新的高中英语课程标准程倡导任务型的教学模式。学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标。此模式中的“任务”就是教师所设计的各项课堂活动。如果能使活动的中心内容来自生活,有一定的真实性,活动者就乐于参与;精心组织的课堂活动就会摆脱松散,连贯地达到预期的教学目标。虽然学生的基础较弱,但是这堂课气氛很活跃,学生表现出很高的热情和积极性;学生们的发言和表演展示了学生们的闪光点。笔者认为,合理把握课堂活动的难度,难易结合,让不同层次的学生都得到机会是授课前应该认真思考的问题。有参与和展示自己的机会,没有任何一个学生甘愿把自己置身事外。有梯度的变化的活动,将课堂“还”给了学生,也体现了“以学生为主体”的教学理念。

3.学生的知识学习的过程是一个老师引领下的自我思考和探索的过程。教师应该更多地思考:怎样培养高中阶段的自学能力即获取和处理信息、分析和解决问题的能力。对于英语,重在提高语言表达和运用能力;为未来发展和终身学习奠定良好基础。笔者认为仅凭一堂课不可能解决问题,但可以启发并鼓励学生积极尝试与发现。“授人以鱼,不如授人以渔”,自我思考和探究的学习习惯才让学生终生受益。这一学习模式也最大地体现课改对英语教学的目的:使学生具有终身学习所必备的英语语言基础知识,基本技能和一定的自主学习的愿望和能力。这共同的语言能力基础应成为普通高中教育为每个学生未来发展所创设的平台和机会。

四、 教学方法

首先用几张PPT导入新课,让学生判断哪些是 Healthy life 和Unhealthy life,然后让学生分组讨论吸烟的危害,以及戒烟的方法,找volunteer分享观点。最后,导入正题“Advice From Granddad”.

在Skimming,Scanning,Detailed reading中,通过合作学习,小组讨论的方式,找出香烟上瘾的原因,吸烟的危害以及戒烟的方法,最后,在Post reading中,要求学生写一个劝告他人戒烟的提纲。

英语阅读课最重要的是培养学生的阅读理解能力,用英语去完成任务,这节课达到了这样的目的。教学设计挖掘了文章的内涵和主旨,使各种有用

一.学生分析

本课的教学对象是高中二年级理科(一)班的学生 。这是一所普通高中的重点班级。这个班的大部分学生有很好的学习习惯,能够主动自觉的去学习和完成作业,也有一定的英语基础。这个班有72位同学,其中男生就有47位。他们大多数能够听懂日常的英语对话,在课堂上反应特别快,头脑很聪明,活泼好动,表现欲很强,有及强的想象力和创造力。但是他们的英语基础比较差,对英语这学科也不怎么感兴趣,不去记英语单词,对课文的背诵和信息的积累很匮乏。而这个班的女同学很文静,上课不怎么爱表现,但是她们的英语基础很好,对英语却有浓厚的兴趣,对老师布置的作业百分之九十完成,上课认真听讲,课后勤奋刻苦。平时的英语考试中前20名有14个左右是女生。所以在我这堂课上要激发男生对英语的热情,从而让他们有课后主动学英语的习惯,也要女生们活跃起来,让她们明白英语中的听和说与它的读和写一样重要。由于本课是阅读型课时,所以就本

课而言,与此同时要教会学生阅读的方法,要他们从句子里面学会单词,从段落里面理解文章,从语篇里收集信息,让他们觉得英语也很简单,因此有阅读的冲动。

二.教材分析

本单元的中心话题是人们最关心的健康问题A healthy life。听说读写都是围绕这个话题展开的。本人将Warming up, Pre-reading, Reading和Comprehending 整合在一起,上一节阅读课。Warming Up部分主要告诉读者什么是真正健康的人和影响健康的棘手问题如吸烟、喝酒、吸毒、不良饮食、压力、肥胖等等为中心话题,并且附上了六幅图片启发学生联想现实生活更多类似的健康问题。Pre-reading部分提供了四个与吸烟有关的讨论题,为后面的Reading做铺垫。而Reading则是一封爷爷写给孙子的建议信,信中谈到了吸烟会上瘾的三点原因(尼古丁的药物作用,习惯的驱动力,精神上的依赖性)吸烟对健康诸多的危害(如伤害心脏和肺,不孕和影响婴儿,影响身边不吸烟的人,味道难闻,手指发黄等等)并附上了一篇如何戒烟的文章来帮助孙子戒烟。Comprehending要求学生讨论几个与Reading内容有关的问题。练习1是根据课文内容完成表格,练习2是要求学生讨论“爷爷”是 一个什么样的人,并对他的信作出评价。练习3要求学生用自己的语言简要概述一下advice on how to stop smoking。通过本课的学习,要求学生意识到吸烟的危害,

养成良好的生活习惯,并学会帮助别人戒烟,解决一些健康问题。

如何让学生在兴趣昂然的英语环境中运用阅读技能理解文章,掌握新的单词和重要的句型,并且在比较自然的情况下说英语是我整节课的主要目标。本节课我将根据本班学生的特点运用情景教学法,讨论法,合作学习法等方法来突出重点,突破难点,激发学生的兴趣,引导学生自主学习。

“健康”这一话题比较贴近学生的生活,怎样吸引他们的眼球呢?在Leading-in部分我选择了从他们熟悉的歌曲入手,播放范晓

萱的健康歌。然后根据男生爱表现的特点让他们讨论什么是一个健康的人,有哪些因素危害着我们的健康。这两个问题都很简单几乎每个都能有话可说。通过讨论法极大的激发学生对英语的兴趣。在讨论中很多学生都能讲到一个健康的人是一个身体和精神都健康的人,其中个部分看过书的学生会提到感情健康,谈到影响人健康的因素时很多学生们都知道在书上朗读出来,有的还列举了更多。

在成功的引入以后我会让学生朗读课文里列举的这几个因素。朗读的目的是为了让学生注重对单词的发音和加强单词的记忆,同时帮助我了解到他们是否对课文有过预习。接着我会对其中的三个较难的单词进行讲解并给他们两分钟记忆。然后通过奖励糖果激发他们的兴趣。其目的是解决大部分学生不爱背单词的问题,让他们发现单词的记忆其实不是一个枯燥的过程,尽量让学生在课堂上多学多记。 然后我把焦点放在影响人健康因素的中吸烟上,问他们中是否有吸烟的同学。(如果没有人吸烟,则问他们的父母是否有吸烟的。)恰好学生中就有人说出一个男同学的名字。我则将计就计让他来回答问题,再叫一个女生给他戒烟的建议(因为本班女生都比较文静,不爱在课堂上说英语)。其目的是为了让他们亲身感受到香烟就在他们身边。而吸烟究竟有那些危害呢?带着这样的好奇心,我让学生开始了课文的阅读。

在Reading这个部分,我的重点是阅读技巧的练习。在略读这个方法上,我先让学生通过略读课文回答两个非常简单的问题(这封信的寄信人是谁和写信人的目的是什么)。通过这两个问题让学生基本

了解略读是怎么回事。其实很多学生在以前的英语学习中都会这个方法,只是没有系统和称谓。接着让学生运用这个方法回答练习册上的五个选择题。在回答这几个问题和后面的精读问题时,我采用男生和女生竞争回答法激发他们的热情,避免上阅读课时的枯燥无聊。接着我让学生听课文磁带,通过听录音帮助学生纠正发音和理解课文。然后教授精度阅读方法。给学生8分钟精读课文并完成课后练习一。在这个部分我先让学生给出练习一的口头回答然后让他们尽量用自己的话写在书上。最后就是找每段的中心句。在通过略读和精度两个过程,学生对课文已经有了很大的理解。再要求学生找出每段的中心句就比较简单了,因为我们知道英语的文章很多都有中心句子,而且它喜欢出现在文章的开头或是结尾。其目的是为了让学生理解归纳的方法和深沉的理解课文。

Vocabulary Learning 部分主要是为了帮助学生更好的理解文章,简单的学习下这些新单词,让学生有个基本的印象。然后再要求学生在没有拦路虎的情况下再次理解文章。

最后在课结束前帮助学生总结下这节课的内容并布置相应的家庭作业。

一、 说教材分析:

(一) 本课的地位和作用

本课是人教版高中英语选修6第三单元第1课时,本单元围绕“健康生活”这个话题展开多种教学活动,本节课包括Warming up, Reading .它之前的Warming up 引导学生讨论健康话题,使学生明白什么才是健康生活。引出了本单元的阅读话题Advice from Gran-dad and How Can You Stop Smoking.通过学习戒烟知识,进一步加深学生对摒弃恶习,追求健康生活的认识。同时通过大量的语言操练,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合运用能力。

(二)说教学目标

根据高中英语教学大纲的要求,我确立本课的教学目标为三个:

1、 知识目标

(1)要求学生对课文进行较好的理解,即了解吸烟的危害和怎样戒烟。

(2)总结和掌握给予建议的几种基本句型。

2、能力目标:

(1)根据《教学大纲》关于“侧重培养阅读能力”的要求和高二学生的阅读能力发展水平,训练学生的Skimming和Scanning的

两种阅读能力。引导学生如何寻找topic sentence。这对于学生的阅读和写作能力的培养都有很大的帮助。

3、德育目标:

教育学生摒弃不良习惯,追求健康人生。

(三)说重点和难点

本课的重点是:阅读并了解如何戒烟及给别人建议。

其难点是:通过阅读提高学生的阅读能力,教会学生阅读的方法。

二、 说学法

(一) 说学生

我教的是高二两个班的学生,一文一理。学生存在的问题是两级分化大,所以在教学设计上要整体把握,顾及到各个层面的学生。着重培养学生交际会话能力,阅读理解能力。本文是说明文,比起记叙文对于学生们来说有一定难度,我在学生阅读时强调skimming和scanning这两种技能,目的就是要提高他们的阅读速度和快速查找信息的能力,从而提高正确率。

三、 说教法

(一)说教法

本课运用的教学方法有:情景交流法、讨论法,任务性教学法。

(二)教学手段

本课教学手段主要采用多媒体电脑。整堂课上我主要采用自己设计、制作的多媒体教学课件。其作用是:1、加大课堂容量。2、

突破重点。3、可以调动学生的积极性,激发他们的学习兴趣。

(三)教学程序

整个教学过程分为8 个步骤:

Step2.Warming up .约5三分钟。采用设定问题,组织学生讨论教学法,,激活课堂,很快导入新课。

设定“What do you think is important in our life?”进行讨论,引入健康话题。然后用图片展示的方法罗列出学生中常出现的一些有害健康的行为,引出问题“What health issues concern young

people the most?”从这个问题直接进入课文的话题smoking。

Step3.Pre-reading.约5三分钟。通过直观的展示吸烟危害的图片及一些科学数据,对青少年为什么吸烟及吸烟的危害的讨论,为课文阅读做好铺垫。

Step4. Fast reading.约8分钟 运用任务型教学法,有两个任务。其一,阅读课文标题,小标题猜测课文大意。其二通过快速阅读找出每段的大意。阅读量很大,因此这部分最好安排为预习作业。

Step5 .careful reading.约8三分钟。在了解整个语篇的基础上细读.采用任务型教学途径,将阅读任务定为填空,使阅读目的性更强。再辅以提问,促进学生的理解。

Step6.Group discussion and acting.约5三分钟。带领学生总结How to give suggestions?

设置几种真实的交际情境,让学生充分利用课堂所学在情境中合作学习,运用英语进行交际。从而有效锻炼思维能力和语言表达能力。

Step7.Summing up .约3三分钟 。师生互动总结课堂重难点。 Step8.Homework.

我布置了三个层面的作业:

既培养了学生动口动手的能力,同时将德育工作和学习活动延伸到课外。约一分钟。
