1.have to意为“不得不 ”第三人称单数“has to”过去式”had to”.将来时“will have to,否定形式应在have 前上加上否定的助动词。意为 “不必”与needn’t同义。Have to的疑问形式是在主语之前加相应的助动词。例如：

She will have to take a bus to work because her bike is broken.

Do you have to go to work tomorrow?

I have to gog home to do my homework.

We don’t have to buy a new book. You must work hard at your lessons.

2.celebrate意为“庆祝，赞颂”其名词形式为“celebration,意为”庆祝，庆贺 例如：

We celebrated the New Year with a party.

They will hold a celebration about National Day.

3.Thanksgiving=Thankgiving Day感恩节。

加拿大的感恩节是在每年的10月份的第二个星期一。在美国，感恩节是在11月份的第四个星期四。此时，分居在各地的家人往往要回家团聚。每年的这个节日，城乡都会举行盛大的庆祝活动，晚上各家各户吃传统的感恩宴。常见的食品是烤火鸡（Roast Turkey），南瓜饼（Pumpkin Pie）,玉米做成的印第安布丁（Indian Pudding）等。

4.wonder动词“想知道”后面常接if 或wh引导的宾语从句。

I wonder if Tom will come to work on time.我想知道汤姆是否会准时来上课。 I wonder when he will come back.我想知道他什么时候回来。
