forget:vt, vi -got, -gotten, -getting （常与about连用）忘记，忘掉

★forget to do sth: 忘记去干某事： eg: She forgot to post the letter. 她忘记寄这封信了。

★forget doing sth.忘记(干过某事) I'll never forget meeting my school headmaster for the first time.我永远忘不了和我小学校长初次见面的情景。

忘记带；忘记买 Don't forget the cases. 别忘了带箱子。

Don't forget your duties. 别玩忽职责。

★forget oneself 失态；忘形 ★forget about 忘记(有关情况）I have forgot all about it. ★注意：把某物忘在某地了，要用leave一词： Ex of forget:
