There are many causes of rampant piracy phenomenon. Therefore, this needs the joint efforts of social government and individual to step by step to solve the problem of piracy phenomenon. First of all, improving relevant laws and regulations is an important means of government. And the government should strengthen law enforcement, and crack down on piracy. In the aspect of individual, we are supposed to refuse to piracy, support the activities of striking piracy. In this way, our social order and the personal safety can be guaranteed.

My view on Pirated Books

At present, pirated products is becoming unprecedentedly visible in our country .In many places including university we see people peddling pirated books .Actually, this phenomenon has severely hindered the development of China’s economy.

Piracy has upset the fairly competitive market .Because pirated books cost much less than the genuine ones, they enjoy a pretty good selling in spite of their relatively poor quality, especially youngsters, who we not financially well-off .The genuine books, on the contrary, sell poorly. In the long run, customers who buy the pirated books will suffer a big loss for the sake of small gains. So, we should do something to solve the problem.

In my opinion ,the problem of pirated books should attract our attention now ,and it’s time to fight against piracy for everyone .First ,people should be educated to say no to these pirated books .Besides, government should take effective measures to stop piracy products. Finally stronger laws must be strictly executed to completely ban piracy. Only with these measures taken, can we believe that the problem will be solved in the future.

dictionaries and translators. It’s no exaggeration that pirated software is everywhere.

The logic behind the phenomenon is simple and clear: if a pirated copy is

available for just a tiny fraction of the normal price, not to speak of many of the free downloads online, who would pay for an authentic copy? Cheaper prices aside, easy access is another important factor. With such a large gathering of pirated upgrades around, who would bother to spend time and money searching the stores for an authorized yet outdated version?

Despite these apparent benefits, the practice of software piracy should be banned, because it represents unfair competition and by nature it’s a no-win

situation. But how? Two approaches are to be taken at the same time:

Technically, software developers should enhance their antipiracy engineering,

so that cracking the software should be virtually impossible. And legally, the government should also tighten its antipiracy laws and toughen up the penalties, so that violations should be costly.
