一、写作的重要性

《英语新课程标准》指出,英语语言技能包括听、说、读、写技能以及这四种技能综合运用能力。写作是中学生学习英语应该撑握的一项基本技能，也是中考中的一个重要题型。随着新课程改革的不断深入，中考英语作文越来越体现个性化特点，所占分数比重较大。同时，由于写作是综合能力的体现，对学生的要求高、难度大，很多学生对英语写作最感头痛。

《初级中学课程标准—英语》中要求初中学生经过初中阶段的学习应该达到以下要求：能根据写作要求，收集、准备素材；能独立起草短文、短信等，并在教师的指导下进行修改；能使用常见的连接词表示顺序和逻辑关系；能简单描述人物或事件；能根据所给图示或表格写出简单的段落或操作说明。可见，写作在英语教学中占据着举足轻重的地位。
