1、英语学习交流会

进入大学后,大家学习英语靠的不再是老师的督促和管教,而是自己的自学能力和一套自创的学习方法,但很多同学学习英语的求知感淡化,自学方法不够强,针对这一问题我们“英语沙龙”决定适时开展英语学习交流会。在交流会中由各个同学谈谈自己学习英语的方法,包括成功经验、失败教训以及现阶段自己学习英语面临的困难。希望在交流中吸取他人学习英语的成功之处,不断的完善自己的学习方法。

2、 举办各类英语游戏

开展多种英语游戏,寓教于乐,可以激发大家学习英语的兴趣,也可以让自己的英语水平在娱乐中得到提高。例如,我们可以开展以下的此类英语游戏:

(1)瞬时记忆大比拼(游戏)

游戏规则:推荐1人参加此活动,一轮游戏可分四组同时进行。参与者站定后背着观众,此时四个工作人员各举一张卡片上场。卡片上写有一个句子,工作人员背向观众站定。由主持人下令让参与者同时向后转,此时开始计时,限时5秒钟。在这5秒钟内参与者可以看卡片上的句子并迅速的记下来。5秒钟后,工作人员将卡片给观众快速看几遍,然后将卡片扣在地面上。参与者有1分钟的时间将迅速记下来的句子写在参与者面前摆放着的黑板上。时间一到,工作人员将卡片举起面向观众,由评委审查参与者写的句子与题目是否一致。全对者可得满分,满分为100分。若参与者写的句子中有单词错误,错一个单词扣10分。

(2)单词接龙(游戏)

活动安排:一轮游戏可由4个小组同时进行。由各班组织推选5个人组成一组参加此游戏。场上放着各写有一个单词的4块黑板。计时开始后,各同学轮流(依次)上去写单词,同学们所写的单词要以黑板上所给单词的最后一个字母为首字母。按此方法依次接下去,限时3分钟,时间到最后接单词最多的小组为优胜组。每接对一个单词加10分,所接单词不得重复,重复的单词不计分。

3、出版英语刊物

此刊物刊登内容主要是学生的优秀英文作品、名家作品赏析以及教师对英语作文的修改原文等。通过这种形式鼓励大家提高英语写作兴趣和写作水平。争取刊物发行每个月至少一次。

4、欣赏欧美原声电影

1 知识传授型活动

专题讲座和开设选修课是该类型活动的主要形式。如举办讲座,我们邀请嘉宾围绕异国的社会文化背景知识和东西方文化的差异等主题进行介绍,随后现场解答学生常感困惑的问题。教师还通过开设《跨文化交际》、《英美概况》、《英美文学赏析》等选修课的形式传授较系统的上述方面知识,帮助学生克服因缺乏文化背景知识而造成的英语学习障碍。

2 课堂延伸型活动

With the increasing number of university graduate fail to find a job, some parents start to hold the opinion that going to university is nothing but waste money and time. They argue that if family has the money to support child to attend to university, they would rather to spend the money to support their child to start their own business, which might get more reward than go to university. According to a recent research, most Chinese college students can not speak exact English pronunciation. Nearly every Chinese student learns English in universities. It's about half a year since I entered the college, and I find the way of study in college is different from the study in high school. Next I will share my opinions with you.

Firstly, we're more or less pushed by our teachers to learn to get a great grade at high school. That's to say, it's not initiative. On the contrary, on the college campus, no one would push us to study, except our-self. What's more, at high school, our teachers

explained almost every word and text specific, but our new teachers would not explain as detailed as high school teachers.

Secondly, at high school, we're only permitted to study science subject or humanities subject, and we would study extremely hard to get more marks which made us stay up. Worse still, in spare time, we never did some sporting and relaxed ourselves so as to not fall behind in the study. However, in college, we're allowed to learn what we're interested in. Besides, when we're free, we always take part in great variety activities which makes us obtain different ability.
