Why is one such a bad number? It is because when the date has th is number in it, some bad thing always happens. America was attacked by terror is ts on September 11 th is year. the terror is ts crashed into America’s pentagon with an airplane. the terror is ts used airplanes to hit many tall buildings in America. there were bombs inside the buildings. When the airplanes hit the tall buildings, the tall buildings and the airplanes exploded. About six thousand people died. How terrible that is ! I think the terror is ts were crazy. People say that the American emergency number is 911, so the terror is ts chose September 11 to attack America. there was a big typhoon on July 11 th is year in Taiwan. It’s name was Toraji. Many cities were flooded. Some people died because of landslides. these dates all th is "one" number. I really don’t think "one" is a good or lucky number. So we have to be careful on dates with th is number
)My Happiest Day
Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before. I invited many of my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening. Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. they bought me lots of beautiful presents. they all said,"Happy birthday to you!" We sang birthday songs happily.then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying, "We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"
At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious food. How happy I was! Let’s Repair It Together!
It was Monday. I got up very early and was the first to come to the classroom. When I came to my desk and was going to sit down, I found my chair was broken. What could I do? At that
time no one was around. I quickly changed my chair with Li Ming’s and sat down to read the book as if nothing had happened.
My classmates came in one after another. After a while, Li Ming came. When he found his chair was broken, he tried to repair it. I didn’t say a word but my face turned red. Soon I ran to the teacher’s office and brought back a hammer. I said to I.i Ming, "Let’s repair it together."
(3) An Unforgettable Holiday
I am ’always busy with my lessons. What I have to do everyday is nothing but study.
Luckily, last summer my family went to my uncle’s farm.We enjoyed a really interesting holiday. During the holiday, I didn’t have to get up early, nor did I need to finish many exercises. I rode the horse in the fields. I milked the cows on the farm. To my GREat joy, my uncle invited me to go fishing. Life on the farm is quite different from that at school. I want to go back to spend my summer holiday again.
(4) A Day to Remember
It was Sunday. Our teacher Mr Zhu led us to a park nearby.Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday. But today we went there to take part in voluntary labour.
We got there at nine o’clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working. the students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. the studentsin Group Two were busycollecting litter left by the tourist. they also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.
At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.
(5) A Sunset
the sunset is very beautiful and lovely. Its scene is as wonderful as a sunrise but it is even more beautiful to watch it in the country than in the city.
When the sun begins to set behind the mountains, its long rays light up the GREen fields. the clouds in the sky also begin to glow with a golden light, and the mountains are really colourful. When the sun begins to set behind the mountain, it looks like a red ball. Its light fills the sky and changes the colour of the clouds from gold to red. When the sun is gone altogether behind the mountain, the clouds turn GREy and the mountains become black.
then you cannot help admiring the wonder of nature.

Some Feelings after Watching Home Alone
Today, I saw large areas of the United States "Home Alone" with deep feeling. The main character is a little boy. Christmas is fast approaching, the little boy was always getting into trouble. As a result, they go to a holiday in Paris, but forget the little boy at home. There are two thieves, after a long period of the study, which determined that no one at home. Some Feelings after Watching 101D
My personal favorite "101D" medium is Disney's "101 Dalmatians: the Series". It combines many themes of the existing material (Dodie Smith book, 1961 and 1996 movies). But still does its own things, too.
Our main pups include brave Lucky, who gets a strong personality mirroring his character in the book, lovable Rolly, the gourmand of the pups, and sweet little Cadpig, who is the true runt of the litter. Also there is Spot the chicken, who longs to
be a dog. I find them all extremely amiable and enjoyable to watch. They are usually foiling Cruella's schemes for their land, or outwitting Lt. Pug (I'll get to him later), or sneaking into Grutely, or...just having fun, making a very likable show.
Some Feelings after Watching The Bucket List
Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman star in The Buket List.A film that was a ton better than I expected.Freeman plays Carter,an engineer and Nicholson plays Edward,a miserable rich man.Both of them have cancer.Both of them had or has a family,of course.While in the hospital,Carter comes up with a list,he calls it The Bucket List.It's a list of all of the things you want to do before you die.For instance,witness something majestic,laugh until I cry,and kiss the most beautiful girl.Edward thinks those are lame,so he adds a few.
When Edward and Carter get out of the hospital and do cooler things.They go skydiving,to France,to Africa and many other places .Sean Hayes from Will & Grace stars as Tom,Edward's assistant.Though his name's not Tom,it's Matthew.Edward thinks it's too Biblical.That's pretty funny.
T he Bucket List is a fun film to watch.I don't know why so many critics around the world bashed it.It's also very funny.I think the part that makes it funny is Jack Nicholson.The film is also a drama,Nicholson's character is having problems with his daughter.The Bucket List is truly a great film.Put it on your list to watch.
Some Feelings after Watching Inception
Yesterday I watched the movie 'Inception'.It was really awesome.The setting of the movie resembles that of 'The Matrix',which also questions the existence of the real world.In fact,ancient philosophers from China and Greek,such as Zhuang Zi and Plato,doubted the reality of our world thousands of years ago.Yet the movie demonstrated the idea in a more appealing and dramatic way.The plot was full of suspenses and conundrums.I admired the courage and intelligence of the protagonist.But what impressed me most was the friendship and love between the people in the movie.I have learned that great things cannot be done without teamwork.
Some Feelings after Watching Sherlock Holmes
Today I watched the movie 'Sherlock Holmes',perhaps the most well-known detective movie in the world.I love to watch the Holmes detecive series since childhood and I am familiar with every case he solved.The movie enthralls me bacause it shows the other side of Holmes.In the movie he was not only intelligent,but also romantic and mascular.The movie may altered the image of Holmes,yet I found it entertaining as it contains many interesting elements--fights,romance and adventure.I would like to see more alteration of this kind.

这学期重新带高一，对于学生和课程都有了更多的思考和感悟。暑假在上教育硕士的课程中，有一门课是大家相互交流对于英语学科的困惑和心得的。我们几个工作还不到两年的教师自然而然成为发问的对象，从怎么讲解词汇到如何管理学生都成了小组讨论的话题。幸运的是，同在一个课堂有经验的教师很乐于与我们分享他们的经验。
其中一位老师提到他有一位同事鼓励学生鞋日记而且坚持反馈。虽然记周记的方式看似与考试关系甚远，但他的学生成绩却提升的很快。这个方法让我很佩服。曾经听教授提及过关于英语写作曾有“写长法”之争，主要的辩论在广外的王初明与北外的文秋芳两位学者。我觉得这种学术争论还挺有趣。不在同一地点的人因共同的话题各持己见，相互发文来答复对方，颇有政选中的火药气息。大家终归是大家的观点，有些东西还是需要我们这些一线的平凡人来实践。无论写长写短，写作总是公认的输出方法。
在学期初，我就告诉我们两个班的学生，准备一个周记本来记录自己本周发生的事情。周记的内容没有限制，旨在尽量用英语表达自己。很快周记就收缴上来了。我发现学生的体裁很有趣，从新鲜地接触新同学新老师新课堂，到对高中的不适应及无限感怀初中，再到结合第一单元Friendship的主题描述友谊。每个人展示的完全是一个全新的小世界。对于他们简单甚至是不少语法错误的文字，我并没有只是做一个日期的评价而已，而是像回信一样有针对性地点评上三四行，有鼓励、有肯定、有建议等。这种感觉特别像在报纸上有个专栏，回复的感觉。我之前看过香港导演彭浩翔的一本书叫做《爱的地下教育》。他是属于那种文字特别犀利的人，回复读者的文字通常很意外、调皮却又很在理。因此我觉得评价周记就类似这种交互式的评论，它是相互的，既是学生心理的记载，又是老师反思的途径。
当然这是一项看起来很美的浩大工程。我需要花很多时间来评价、来酝酿、来批改，常常会占用很多休息时间。有一个学生很好奇地问：“老师，你给每个人都写这么多吗？有那么多时间么？”我说挤时间来评价。同时，有的学生会词穷，写出的东西像流水账一样，质量很差。但看到有一个同学写到他很触动因为我评价的比他写得还多，我觉得这样的工作还是有必要的。
上一轮时，有的时候我感觉很了解学生，但当时是一种盲目的错觉，因为缺乏实质的平台来沟通。了解一个人是一个点滴的过程，需要积累。虽然后来这项美好的计划暂时搁置了。但我希望下学期能重拾起来。
