The Pandas In this summer,I went to Sichuan,it was so beautiful!The best scenic spot is Panda Base,Yaan.There,I saw so many pandas.They were so lovely and funny!At Baixiongping,I saw a panda,he is ate bamboo,he’s very lovely!

I took quite a lot photos. Then I went to the Panda Nursery, there

were so many baby pandas, and it was a panda born less then a month,he’s very cute!

What a wonderful trip it is!

一、教材分析

本单元是人教版英语七年级下册第五单元(Why do you like pandas?)。本单元主要是通过学习动物名称和常见的有关描述动物的形容词,学会表达个人对动物的喜好;学会运用why, what, where引导的问句,了解动物的外形、生活习性及主要产地,并能运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物,进一步培养和激发热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。通过本单元的学习,学生应能较流利地运用所学词汇和句型描述动物,表达个人喜好。本节课是Section A的第一课时,主要学习动物名称的单词,以及表述喜欢并称述原因。

二、设计理念

《英语课程标准》明确指出:初中英语学习要从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度,主动思维的大胆实践。本节课充分利用简笔画,教学图片,多媒体课件等教学手段和工具,创设谈论动物的情景,使学生能有更多的机会动口说,动笔写,以熟练掌握所学知识,提高听、说、读、写的综合素质。同时在教学过程中,注重过程性评价,促进学生能力发展,帮助学生形成一定的综合语言应用能力。

三、学生情况分析

学生此前已经学过由why, where, what 引导的特殊疑问句句型,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提。形形色色的动物能激发学生的好奇心,产生了解它们的欲望,这有利于本单元知识的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。

四、教学目标 根据《英语课程标准》关于总目标的具体描述,结合第五单元的教材内容,我按语言知识、语言技能、学习策略、情感态度、文化意识五个方面将本节课的教学目标细化:

1.知识目标

A)词汇:1) 名词n. panda,tiger,elephant,koala, lion, giraffe, zoo,

animal.

2) 形容词adj. cute, lazy, smart, beautiful. B)句型:Let’s see the lions. Why do you want to see the lions?

Because they are cute.

2.语言技能:学会描述动物,以及学会表达喜好并陈述原因,从而训练学生的听、说能力。

3.学习策略:课堂以学生为主体,以任务为主线,重视体验参与,教师起“设计者、研究者、促进者、协调者”的作用。

4.情感目标:培养和激发学生热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀

5.文化意识: 用恰当的方式表达对动物的喜好并陈述原因。

五、教学重点和难点

1.教学重点:

1)The vocabulary.

2) Express preferences and give reasons.

六、教学方法:情景教学法,听说法。

七、教学用具:简笔画,教学图片,多媒体课件。

八、教学过程(Teaching steps)

Step1 Lead-in

1.To create an English environment, the teacher shows the class some pictures of a zoo. And ask some questions about animals:

Do you like animals?

What animals do you know?

2.Then have them to recall the animals they had learned and write them on the blackboard as he/she can.

【设计意图】本单元主要话题是描述动物,通过两个问题引出本单元动物的话题。

Sept2 New words

Present the names of the animals

Sept3 Guessing game

T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Let Ss guess what animal it is. Ss try to guess and remember the names of the animals.

Get Ss to match the words with the animals in the picture on p. 25. Check the answers.

1.Get Ss to listen and check (√) the animals they hear in 1a. Check the answers.

2.Read out the conversation in the picture and ask some pairs to role-play the conversation to the class.

【设计意图】此环节着重是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇,由于前面已做了一些训练,因此学生听起来比较容易,让他们都有一次成功的喜悦和感受,这样可以增强他们的学习自信心。

Sept6 Drill

Ask some Ss to repeat the conversation with different animals this time. T: Let’s play a game. Take turns repeating the conversation in the picture in pairs. But remember to talk about different animals each time.

【设计意图】此环节为机械操练,使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。机械操练是英语初始阶段教学必不可缺的部分,学生要先从模仿到初步掌握,最后才能熟练应用。机械操练时应注意着重提问成绩较差的学生,由于机械操练比较简单,因

Sept7 1c

Get Ss to work in pairs and practice the conversation in 1c, then make conversations about the other animals in the picture using the words in the box. Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class.

教学反思:本节课的教学内容和动物话题联系非常紧密,依据这一特点来设计

本节课,收到了非常好的效果。本节课的教学设计中的教材整合是一大亮点。

此外,通过游戏巩固了所学,学生兴趣很高。教学内容的调整,形成了多样化教学,学生能从多个渠道获取信息。

同时要经常反复检查学生的知识掌握情况,以便巩固、提高。

Giant panda

The giant pandas,which are the first level’s animals,in our country, are facing the danger of extinction. As we have known, pandas are chequered with black and white though their body, and they are heavy and slow. They feed on bamboo. They seem so cute that we like them very much. However,the quantity of them is no more than 1600 in the world and 330 in China. Therefore, it is urgent to protect them.

Why are the pandas less and less? There are many reasons accounting for this. First, with the development of economic, we have occupied their too much habitat.Second, many lawbreakers hunt them because their value of body. Third, their food is only bamboo and once the bamboo become less and they do, too.

Fortunately, the government has introduced many policies to protect them.For example, people set up nature protection area in Sichuan, Shan-xi and Gansu province where the most pandas mainly inhabitat.Moreover, the country punish those criminals who hunt pandas.

I believe, with the protection of people, pandas will become more and more and live a happy life.
