Today is sunny .I will fly the kite with my dad. In the afternoon, I fly kites with my dad.

I find a big place to fly kites. It’s near the park .I run around the place very fast , the kite is fly. but the wind is getting slow now, so the kite is like a balloon falling down now. I say to my father :“Dad, the kite can’t fly!” “I’m sure that the kite can fly! ” my father says .Then,he takes the kite and through it of the sky,and run around the place .the kites fly higher and higher.In ten minutes,the kite just like a black bird ,flies in the sky .“oh,the kite is flying!”I says to me:“see, I know theres fly!”

I like fly kites, It’s funy.

Kite-flying

As we all know, spring is the best season to fly kites and almost every school will hold a Kite-flying competition in a nice day, so does our school. My friend Lisa and I immediately signed up to take part in the game when we knew the news that our school would hold a Kite-flying competition in next Tuesday. What we should do next was to prepare some goods for Kite-flying, such as kite, kite rope, scissors and so on.

Kite-flying competition was held on the playground, we went to the playground ahead of time, and found many boys had been flying their kites high in the sky. They were excited when their kites fling higher than others. They shouted with joy and jumped up and down. Before long, Lisa's kite was in the sky, but mine was not. I was so disappointed that I even wanted to give up. But I carried on, I asked Lisa to exchange the kites. Oh! Her kite was wonderful. It was so light that it can flow higher than all of the other kites. At last, she told me why my kite could not fly, because it was rude, the head was heavy, and the end was light. After exchanging, the kite under my control was flying higher and higher. Unfortunately, the kite was entangled by another kite. We tried to separate them away, but failed. There was nothing to do but cut the string. As a result, we had to go back to dormitory disappointedly.

In a word, Campus activities have been organized in many universities and colleges. These activities range from academic to recreational, such as academic reports, speech contests, poets club, painting clubs, singing and dancing groups, etc. These activities not only can make our life colorful, but also can relax and enrich our minds and knowledge. So I hold a view that we should try our best to participate every campus activity, during our spare time.

Kites are made in many different sizes, colors and shapes. A flat kite is the oldest and simplest type of kite. It flies because air flows over and under the kite’s wings. The pressure (压力) under the wings helps the kite lift into the air.

Kites have also been used in the experiments. Early scientists sent

kites up into the air to measure (测量) temperature. In 1752, Benjamin Franklin used a kite to prove that ligh(来自:WWw.SmhaiDa.com 海达范文网:flying,kites)tning was a form of electricity. He tied a metal key to the string of a kite. When lightning hit the kite,

electricity passed down the string and Franklin got an electric shock. It was a very dangerous experiment that you shouldn’t copy.

Kites were also used to develop airplanes. The Wright Brothers did

experiments with kites before they flew the first airplane. In the past kites were used to take pictures in wars. In World War I the Germans

developed a large kite that could transport people to a ship.

Today most people fly kites as a hobby. Kite festivals are now

organized in many parts of the world.

Flying a kite Jack and Kelly like spring, because spring is the best season for kite-flying. It’s a windy

and sunny today, so Jack and Kelly planed to

fly a kite in the park. They have a beautiful red kite ,and first they did lots of

preparation at Jack’s home. Soon, they came

to the park. Jack and Kelly couldn’t wait flying kite! Jack ran towards the direction of wind, and slowly the kite fly to the sky, flying high, Kelly followed cheering! After about ten minutes later the kite was sailing upward and away as far as his string could go. At last, kite flying high, they had to give up catching flying kite. Although they didn’t catch up with the kite, they had happy today!

放风筝

Jack和Kelly喜欢春天，因为春天是个放风筝的好季节。今天正好有风又是阳光明媚的天气，所以Jack和Kelly决定在公园放风筝。他们有一个漂亮的红色风筝，首先他们在Jack的家里面做好放风筝的充分准备。不一会儿，他们来到了公园。Jack和Kelly迫不及待地拿出了风筝！Jack朝着逆风的方向跑，风筝越飞越高，Kelly在后面欢呼雀跃！大约过了十分钟，Jack的风筝一直朝天上飞连线都不够了，他们追赶着风筝。最后，他们不得不放弃一直朝天上飞的风筝。尽管最后他们没有追到风筝，但是他们今天玩得和开心！

放风筝

August, September and October are the months of kites flying, because the wind blows north-westwards. During these months, many Wonderful kites are flying in the blue sky.

One day as the school was over, Qin Bo, my classmate, called me accompanying him to have kite flying at the big grass field. I had not been flown kite for a long time. So I promised him at last, when I reached there at five, I found him waiting for me.

Many boys were flying their kites higher in the sky. They were excited when they found their kites win another's. They shouted with joy and jumped up and down.

Not long after, Qin Bo's kite was in the sky, but mine was not. I was so disappointed that I wanted to give up. But I thought how disgraceful I was. So I asked Qin Bo to exchange the kites. Oh! His kite was wonderful. It was so light that it flow higher than the kites of all. He told me why my kite could not fly because it was maderoughly; the head was heavy, and the end was light, I agreed and made up my mind to make a new kne that would fly high in the sky.

放风筝

八月、九月、十月是放风筝的季节，因为这时的风是朝西北方向刮。在这几个月里，蓝色的天空中有许多美丽的风筝在飞翔。

一天放学时，我的同桌秦波叫我陪他到草地上去放风筝。我好久没放风筝了，所以我答应了他。当我五点钟到那时，我发现他正在等我。

许多男孩正在向高空中放风筝。当他们发现他们自己的风筝胜过其它风筝时都很激动。他们欢呼雀跃。
