篇一：Stay hungry,stay foolish 不是什么“求知若饥,虚心若愚”
2005 年，Steve Jobs 在 Stanford 毕业典礼上演讲，最后送给了在场的年轻人一句「Stay Hungry,Stay Foolish.」这个演讲后来被广为流传，各种中译版也纷纷出现，有些人把这句话翻译为「求知若饥，虚心若愚」，《Cheers 杂志》则把这句话翻译为「饥渴求知，虚怀若愚」。无论如何，这些都是错误的解读。
什么叫 Hungry？
英语里不会用 hungry来形容对于知识的追求。对知识，英语用的是「好奇」(curious) 这个字。一个求知若渴的人，叫做「intellectually curious」或是「eager to learn」，但绝对不会是「intellectually hungry」，也极少是「hungry to learn」。
用到 hungry的时候，针对的「成功」，也就是「hungry for success」。所以 Steve Jobs 的「Stay hungry」，根本不是叫你去求「知」的意思，他真正想说的，是要你去不停的寻找成功，永远不知道满足。为什么？因为创业者最常犯的错误，除了做出没人要的东西之外，就是太快满足于初期的成功，接着开始以为自己是神，再也不会失败。
杨致远就是最好的例子，90 年代末期 Yahoo 叱咤网络圈后，他开始陶醉于成功之中，成天打高尔夫球、旅行，结果呢？快转十年之后，Yahoo 现在的市值等于他们手中持有的阿里巴巴股票，也就是说这家母公司是一毛不值。为什么？因为他失去了 hungry。
回头看 Steve Jobs，过去 14 年来，他像一头饥饿的猛兽，永远不会满足，Mac、iPod、iPhone、iPad 一招接一招，不停直捣对手的心脏，如果不是因为健康状况，他大概永远没有停歇的一天，这，就是 hungry，这，就是 Fox写的「稀有的猪」。
什么叫 Foolish？
英语也不会用 foolish 来形容虚心，虚心叫做「humble」、叫做「be a good listener」、叫做「be open to new ideas」。而 fool，根本不是「虚心的人」，fool 是「笨蛋」的意思。
「You gotta be a fool to believe that will work.」(白痴才会相信那东西会成功) 是所有的创业者最常听到的，而 Steve Jobs 想告诉你的，就是别理他们，继续当你的傻瓜。因为要革命，你就注定要在众人的误会中孤独的前进。
所以各位创业者，记住 Steve Jobs 的 StayHungry， Stay Foolish.

Home-Stay: Advantages Far Outweigh Disadvantages
As we all know, nowadays, more and more foreign students tend to go to the United State for the further study. For these students who want to improve their English quickly and learn more about American family, there is no doubt that living with an American family is of great benefit to them. The reasons are as following. First of all, living with an American family can make students feel more homely and comfortable. There is no need to share a room with others, students can have their private space and without worrying about some problems with people from different religious. What’s more, sometimes students can even participate in their family parities and enjoy the traditional American foods and learn more about American custom. It can also get rid of their loneliness, and make them in a good mood.
Second, students can learn how to get along with American and get more communication with American, which does goods to their language and communication skills. Each time he has a conversation with someone in the family, the native speaker can help him with the pronunciation and grammar. Surrounded by English all the time, students will find themselves in an ideal atmosphere in which his English will certainly improve.
The last but not the least, traditional culture can make students understand American easily. They can get lots of traditional culture through everyday life. The most important thing is the American’s thinking style, it is closely related to the traditional culture. Only when they get familiar with American’ life style and thinking style, can they understand their majors and language completely. After then, they can be well prepared themselves for their future.
Although I agree that there may be some disadvantages to living with an American family, I feel that advantages far outweigh disadvantages. Every coin has its
two sides, we can not deny it with its disadvantages. Home-stay program

家永远是我们幸福的港湾！家中的父母亲人一直在背后默默支持你，祝福你，希望你一生幸福美好！所有感恩父母，感恩亲人，感恩朋友，感恩关心帮助你的每一个人。尤其是家庭父母给我们带来的一生的影响你，将是不可磨灭的，终将影响你的一生。然而家庭父母使我们无法选择的！不管家庭富裕或贫寒，永远要知道知恩图报！特别是出生于贫困家庭，不要埋怨上天的不公！其实老天对我们每一个人都是公平的，只不过形式不一样而已。家庭贫困时，就需要我们自身努力奋斗，靠自身去改变命运！更何况，贫穷只不过是一种生活状态，也许只是短暂的！因此完成不必为了贫穷而懊恼，好好努力，改变贫穷，实现自身价值和人生理想及最求！
人生总会有很多的无奈，有些事情我们无法选择和左右，这时候，我们所要做的是爱我们所学，爱我们所选！这山望着那山高，我们永远也做不好！只要抱着积极态度去学去做，相信终能做好！当然如果能做我们所爱就更好不过了！正如乔布斯所言：唯一去做伟大的工作的方法是钟爱你所做的。如果你现在还没有找到你所爱的, 那么继续寻找、不要妥协。靠着你内心深处的指引, 当你找到它的时候，你就会知道你真的找到了。就像任何很棒的关系一样, 随着岁月的流逝，你钟爱的工作只会越来越棒。所以要继续寻找，一直到你找到它，不要妥协！

生命诚可贵！珍惜时间，珍惜生命中的每一天，把每一天都当作生命中最后一天。要时刻提醒自己即将死去。尤其是在人生中下重大决定时，更需要如此。因为几乎所有的事情，包括所有的外界期望，所有的荣誉与骄傲、所有对难堪和失败的恐惧，这些在死亡面前都会消失，留下的是真正重要的东西。因为时间有限，所以不要浪费时间活在别人的生活里。活在当下，活在自己的世界里，永远不要被别人羁绊而碌碌一生。
最后，保持求知若饥，虚心若愚。唯有如此，才能更好的适应社会的发展，才能更好的提升自我，实现自我！
