一、教材分析（教学内容、要求和目标）

Li Ming 非常好奇Lucy在加拿大新学校的样子，所以打电话给Lucy. Lucy向Li Ming介绍了自己新学校的样貌，和自己学校的一些主要建筑物以及自己在学校喜欢做的事情。通过Li Ming 和Lucy的通话，学习本课主要句型?What’s your school like???It’s big and beautiful.??There is ……??There are……?本单元主要学习谈论加拿大学校生活，描述学校样貌比较加拿大学校和中国学校的不同，要求学生能就所学知识描述自己的学校和家。语言技能和语言知识几乎都围绕?学校样貌?这一中心话题设计的。

根据学生的接受能力和本单元内容的总体分析，我把本课范围确定在? school ?。教学的中心任务是使学生通过本课的学习，能灵活运用所学语言谈论学校样貌，以及学校的建筑物；同时培养学生的阅读技巧和阅读能力，以及团队协作能力、竞争意识和小组合作意识，不断激发学生的学习积极性；不断挖掘他们运用语言的创造性。教学目

标如下：1、掌握单词：tree building gym send photo。2、掌握重难点句型：What’s your new school like? It’s not big, but very beautiful. There is an old building in my school. There are many trees and flowers.

二、学情分析（教学设计的依据）

五年级的学生处于感性认识到理性认识的转型期，学生学习本课主要可能存在以下问题：

语言知识难度：本课主要学习介绍学校样貌，以及介绍学校里的主要建筑物，对学校的建筑物的英文名字叫不出来如：会议室、教学楼、办公楼……，课文的主要句型是there is……和there are……所以在有些名词的单复数上，可能读的不对。对冠词a 和an的用法不准确。

基于上述因素，在教学设计方面我将借助灵活多样的情景法，实物展示，尽可能利用多媒体课件的功能，情景活动，做到学习活动化，活动生活化，让学生感于说、愿意说，以达到熟练运用英语进行交际的目的，并利用学生所学的英语知识拉近师生间的距离，提升他们的表现欲望，以求最佳的教学效果。

具体设计如下：情景设置→整体输入→分片段合作学习→?通过语言的整体感知，课文内容的理解，理清线索，讲述课文内容，最终培养学习整体理解故事的能力以及自学的好习惯。

一、Warm-up

1、全班分男队和女队比赛，在竞争意识中活跃气氛，这个活动将贯穿本节课从头至尾。我认为五年级的气氛难以跳动，设计这个环节能充分挑起同学们想战胜他们小组的欲望，生的反应高涨。在队员回答对问题的时候，师要给该组一个小星星以示鼓励，看最后男生厉害还是女生棒！

首先与学生热情的打招呼，师介绍自己喜欢drawing，问生?Do you like ……？由师生对话引出chant.

1、由chant内容引出： I like doing sports.讲授doing sports意思。师：I like doing sports on the playground in my school.出示学校操场和学校的照片。师指着自己的学校说：This is my shool. It’s not big. It’s beautiful.出示二小学校照片：问生?What about your school？What’s your school like?

【设计意图】出示自己学校照片，师进行描述。主要是为了引出本课新句型：What’s your school like?然后同学们看见了自己的学校，自然比较熟悉，用英语描述也不在话下。

2、由谈论自己和同学们的学校引出，我们的好朋友Li Ming和Lucy也在谈论Lucy的新学校。听课文第一段找出：Li Ming问Lucy什么问题？

教授本课新句型:What’s your new school like? 在上一个环节生已经初步感知了这个句型，所以同学很容易掌握这个句型。然后进行师生对话练习。

3、播放有关加拿大学校的视频，让同学们更加了解加拿大的学校，也进而学习并练习句型：What’s your new school like?

【设计意图】拓展同学们的视野和知识面，让学生们真正的了解和看看加拿大小学的样子，将书本中的知识真实的呈现在学生的眼前，并且视频也出现了gym、library等，我也会在视频播放的同时，渗透本课的主要句型there is 和there are 句型。

4、出示Lucy学校的图片，进行课文主要句型的教授There are many trees and flowers。讲授新单词tree，并总结字母组合ee 的发音。并且用不同的图片交换练习新句型。

5、拓展There are many……用学习用品替换练习。

6、第二遍听音，回答问题：What else are in Lucy’s school?听音划线。

播放教学光盘，让同学们整体感知课文，并且巩固已经学过句型;What’s your school like? There are many ……。

看完教学光盘后，学习新句型：There is ……。首先解决两个生词：building gym 然后利用图片继续操练。

7、利用练习 there is句型there is a school. I like
