Malfoy no podía creer lo que veían sus ojos, cuando vio que Harry y Ron todavía estaban en Hogwarts al día siguiente, con aspecto cansado pero muy alegres. En realidad, por la ma?ana Harry y Ron pensaron que el encuentro con el perro de tres cabezas había sido una excelente aventura, y ya estaban preparados para tener otra.

Mientras tanto, Harry le habló a Ron del paquete que había sido llevado de Gringotts a Hogwarts, y pasaron largo rato

preguntándose qué podía ser aquello para necesitar una protección así.

—Es algo muy valioso, o muy peligroso —dijo Ron.

—O las dos cosas —opinó Harry

Pero como lo único que sabían con seguridad del misterioso objeto era que tenía unos cinco centímetros de largo, no tenían muchas posibilidades de adivinarlo sin otras pistas.

Ni Neville ni Hermione demostraron el menor interés en lo que había debajo del perro y la trampilla. Lo único que le importaba a Neville era no volver a acercarse nunca más al animal.

Hermione se negaba a hablar con Harry y Ron, pero como era una sabihonda mandona, los chicos lo consideraron como un premio. Lo que realmente deseaban en aquel momento era poder vengarse de Malfoy y, para su gran

bajaron y dejaron el paquete frente a él, tirando al suelo su tocino. Se estaban alejando, cuando otra lechuza dejó caer una carta sobre el paquete.

Harry abrió el sobre para leer primero la carta y fue una suerte, porque decía:

NO ABRAS EL PAQUETE EN LA MESA Contiene tu nueva Nimbus 2.000, pero no quiero que todos sepan que te han comprado una escoba, porque también querrán una. Oliver Wood te esperará esta noche en el campo de quidditch a las siete, para tu primera sesión de entrenamiento.

Harry tuvo dificultades para ocultar su alegría, mientras le alcanzaba la nota a Ron.

—?Una Nimbus 2.000! —gimió Ron con envidia—. Yo nunca he tocado ninguna. Malfoy le quitó el paquete a Harry y lo examinó.

—Es una escoba —dijo, devolviéndoselo bruscamente, con una mezcla de celos y rencor en su cara—. Esta vez lo has hecho, Potter. Los de primer a?o no tienen permiso para tener una.

Ron no pudo resistirse.

—No es ninguna escoba vieja —dijo—. Es una Nimbus 2.000. ?Cuál dijiste que tenías en casa, Malfoy, una Comet 260? —Ron rió con aire burlón—. Las Comet parecen

veloces, pero no tienen nada que hacer con las Nimbus.

—?Qué sabes tú, Weasley, si no puedes comprar ni la mitad del palo? —replicó Malfoy—. Supongo que tú y tus hermanos tenéis que ir reuniendo la escoba ramita a ramita.

Antes de que Ron pudiera contestarle, el profesor Flitwick apareció detrás de Malfoy

—No os estaréis peleando, ?verdad, chicos? —preguntó con voz chillona. —A Potter le han enviado una escoba, profesor —dijo rápidamente Malfoy.

A Book Report of the Harry Potter

I have read the simplified version of The Harry Potter series published by People's Literature Publishing House for a long time. J. K. Rowling, born in 1965, British author, who writes about the magical adventures of a boy wizard named Harry Potter. This is a series novel with the magic and dark wizards for the theme of fantasy adventure stories.The Harry Potter book series dominated bestseller lists beginning in the late 1990s, attracting millions of fans worldwide among children and adults alike.So,she was so popular that her works had been translated into nearly seventy different languages, in more than two hundred countries accumulative total sales of more than three hundred and fifty million copies.Then, she was honoured as "magic mother"

J.K. Rowling — the Author of the Novel

J`K.Rowling, who is a famous writer in the world, is famous with the novel--Harry Potter.It is a series novel that attracts numbers of people in the world.Like that of her own character, Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling's life has the luster of a fairy tale. Divorced, living on public assistance in a tiny Edinburgh flat with her infant daughter, Rowling wrote Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone at a table in a cafe during her daughter's naps — and it was Harry Potter that rescued her.

As an author, J.K.Rowling has written fiction since she was a child. She grows up in Chepstow and wrote her first "book" at the age of six--a story about a ribbit called Rabbit.

She studied French and Classical at Exeter University, then moved to Londonto work at Amnesty International, and then to Portugal to teach Engliash as a foteign language, before settling in Edinburg. The idea for Harry Potter occured to hei on the train from Manchester to London, where

she says Harry Potter "just strolled into my head fully formed"，and by the time she had arrived at King's Cross, many of the characters had taken shape. During the next five years she outlined the plots for each book and began writing the first in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stoe, which was first published by Bloomsbury in 1997. The other Harry Potter titles: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, followed J.K.Rowling has also written two companion books, Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in aid of Comic Relief.

Background knowledge on Rowling is important in understanding the whole work as well as the characters in Harry Potter, especially since many of the characters and scenes share some of the same traits as the author herself.

Rowling describes herself as being petite, with busy red hair, freckles, and glasses; much like her character Hermione Granger. Rowling’s love for animals can be seen in her gamekeeper character, Hagrid (Kirk 2003:12-13). The love of Harry’s mother and the loss of his parents are the crux of the plot, the emotional center. The death of Rowling’s own mother was an artistic outlet which drove her to continue writing (Kirk 2003:53). Also, the character of Severus Snape is a real person that J.K. Rowling has encountered in her early life, he taught her chemistry and employed her mother as an assistant at Wyedean School near Chepstow. Rowling’s own mythical journey is not much different than that of her fictional characters: loss, rejection, success; and ―the journey continues for both her and her characters‖

The Plot of the Work

The books chronicle the adventures of a wizard, Harry Potter and his

friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story are concerns Harry’s quest to overcome the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort, whose aims are to become immortal, to conquer the wizarding world, subjugate Muggles (non-magical people), and destroy all those who stand in his way, especially Harry Potter.

Harry Potter is an orphan raised by Dursley family who make him sleep in the storage space beneath the stairs. He does not know his parents were wizards and he is also in fact a powerful wizard until he is in his eleventh birthday when Rebeus Hagrid, the caretaker of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry visits him. Harry’s adventure begins when he starts to attend the school and becomes a close friend of two other young magicians, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. He is gradually building a confrontation with the evil wizard who killed his parents. All in all the Harry Potter series is chronicling the life of the young, orphaned wizard Harry. The series is beginning when Harry is eleven and following him through adolescence and young adulthood until seventeen.

He seems to help love the fantasies of children and adults secular realize the dream deeply buried in a corner of the inner. Harry's fate is so legendary. It is reported that his parents be killed in a car accident, only a slender, lightning-shaped scar on his forehead, it is the scars that he seemed so different in the magic school.
