Trees, which are so related to our life, are one of the many natural resources that we are heavily dependent on but don’t take much care of. It is known to all that trees are very useful. Not only can they provide us with building materials but also they can be made into desks, chairs, fine paper and many other things. Besides, trees can also supply oxygen to us and make the air around us fresh. In hot summer trees give us shade and make our surroundings more beautiful. What’s more, trees can stop soil from being washed away by a heavy rain.

Unfortunately, lots of people fail to realize the importance of trees. People cut down trees in the forest for wood and more farmland. The area of the forest is getting smaller and smaller. It threatens the environment and the interest of human beings in the long run. Lack of concern for the trees has already resulted in many disasters, from which we should draw lessons.

To help the situation, I think above all, getting people educated about trees and their significance is very urgent. To our relief, governments around the world are taking effective steps in the cause, and more and more people have learned to protect our forests and trees. Secondly, to punish by law those who will not be educated is necessary. In addition, not only people shouldn’t cut down too many trees, but we should plant trees. With our concern for trees and forests and action to protect them, a green and beautiful world is not far away.

Worrying about environmental issues and a severe waste of resources, China will ban the free plastic bags, but it may not be universally welcomed while they provide

convenience to consumers.

I think the ban is good both for us and for the whole world, which can reduce

waste and save resources. As we know, oil is non-renewable resource. Overuse of oil will bring us a series of troubles. Overuse of plastic bags will bring us lots of diseases. So, we can not wait to stop using them. Many countries, including those with

developed economy, have bitten the bullet and banned plastic bags.

But everything is two-sided. For the time being, people have really got used to

using them, and they do give us lots of convenience. If we forbid using plastic bags, we should find ways to solve the problem. We consumers ought to bring cloth bags or shopping baskets instead of plastic bags. （124字）

Some people think that pressure may help us, of course, it may do harm to us too. The author believes that too much pressure is very harmful to the students. Why do some students cheat in the exams? It’s because of the pressure from the parents and the teachers. Some of them even will commit suicide. So, appropriate pressure is acceptable, or we will face a terrible situation.

I think studying under a little pressure is really motivated to us, but if too much pressure, we can’t stand it. I have ever suffered from too much pressure on studying. The passage mainly describes the interpersonal relation in the real society. In fact, nowadays the economics is more developed and the people are richer than before, but the communication among the people has reduced much less. As the passage says that we reached the moon and came back, but we find it troublesome to cross our own street and meet our neighbors. We have conquered the utter space, but not our inner space.

The story mainly says when people do not punished for doing bad things early in their lives; they may do worse things when they get older. One day, a boy stole a girl’s bicycle and took it to his mother. But his mother didn’t punish him; she told her son that he was clever for doing so. Later, stealing had become his habit by his mother’s encouragement. Finally, he was caught into prison.

As the mother used a wrong way to educate her son, his son’s bright future had been ruined. So I am strongly against her view. When her son stole others’ things, she didn’t blame him. Day after day, he had formed a bad habit of stealing things. I think parents should use a correct way to educate the children. If parents want their children to respect and trust them, at first they should respect and trust their children. It’s natural that parents love their children. But parents also should be strict with their children. Too much love from their parents makes the children lose their correct direction.
