在碧绿的森林里，小兔子和长颈鹿在开心地玩耍，不知不觉天就黑了。他们又渴又饿又累。突然，眼前浮现了一颗果树，上面结满了鲜红的果子，香气扑鼻。一只大象迈着沉重的脚步走来，只见它用鼻子一卷，吃了好多果子。小兔子和长颈鹿眼巴巴地看着它吃。现在，树上只剩下一个果子了，它们为这一个果子争吵起来，谁也不理谁。小兔子想：“虽然我个子矮，但我跳得高，肯定能拿到果子！”于是，它往上跳，可仍然摘不到果子。“我虽然年龄小，”长颈鹿想，“但我脖子也很长，肯定能把果子摘下来。”于是，它使劲地伸长脖子去够果子，可是却够不着。这时，小兔子想到一个好办法：“长颈鹿，我站到你的肩上吧，这样我们就能摘到果子了。”它们采取了这个办法，果然吃到了果子。之后，他们通过合作勇敢地走出了森林……

去年暑假的一天，爸爸带我到动物园玩。

来到动物园，看到动物园里的动物可真多，有老虎、狮子、猴子?? 有的在晒太阳，有的在休息，有的在吃东西，还有把头低着在喝

水??一只只动物各具情态，显得憨态可掬。

这时，我走到长颈鹿馆的栏杆前，看到长颈

鹿有一个长长的脖子，长长的腿，身上有斑点。

样子与梅花鹿很相似，看起来像体形巨大的梅花

常奇怪。它首先把四条腿慢慢往外伸展叉开，让

自己趴下去，头慢慢低下来，直低到水面才停下

来，真有趣。

看着看着，我突然发现长颈鹿和别的动物喝

水的方式不同。别的动物只是把头低下来喝水，而每只长颈鹿喝水前却先要伸直腿，让身子趴下去一点，再小心把头慢慢低下来喝，真奇怪！这是什么原因呢？我去问管理员。管理员说：“长颈鹿很特别，如果像别的动物那样喝水，它就会不舒服。”可是为什么这样呢？我想知道得更具体，管理员也不知道。

我一回到家就上网去查资料。从百度里，我知道了：长颈鹿因为脖子长，头部离心脏很远。如果直接站着喝水会造成头部血压急剧升高而导致脑溢血。所以，长颈鹿喝水时，将前面两腿大幅叉开，头低下去，这样流向脑部的血液就大量减少，血压不会因此突然升高。叉开腿是为了降低自己的高度，头慢地下是为了控制血流的速度。如果不这样做，长颈颈鹿喝完水后站起来就容易患脑溢血。原来是这样，真是太神奇啊！

观察长颈鹿，我发现了它的秘密，是因为我留心观察，认真思考了。生活中只要有这种精神，无论观察什么，都会有新的发现。
