《冰雪奇缘》的英文名是“Frozen”，意思是冰冻的，可是我看完后却一点也不感到寒冷，反倒觉得暖意融融。影片讲述了一对公主姐妹从被迫分离到再相聚相依的故事。 公主艾尔莎具有魔法，能够随时变化出冰雪的世界。她和妹妹趁大人不注意，营造了一个快乐的冰雪世界，可是因为一时不慎，艾斯的魔力给妹妹造成了伤害。还好地精治好了妹妹的伤，也删除了她受伤的记忆，她将忘记姐姐有魔力的事情。同时地精警告艾尔莎，她的魔力将会越来越强，如果失去控制，将对人们造成巨大的伤害。从此为了不给别人造成伤害，艾斯尔莎封闭了自己，城堡大门紧闭，自己的房门也紧闭，除了父母不让任何人接近她，包括妹妹，因为她随时可能把自己接触到的物体变成冰，而且她生怕别人知道自己拥有的魔力，一直在恐惧中度过所有的日子，绝望地看着自己的魔力越来越强??
