I have a happy winter holiday, because I go to many places.

First, I go to Liannan to climb mountains and visit some old houses. Then I go to Longmen. In the evening, we go to the hot spring. My mother's friend says, "There are many squirrels in Nankun mountain!"

That's very interesting! I want to see monkeys very much. But we don't have time to go there.I am so sad!

Later, we go to other places, such as Xi Qiao, Guangzhou, etc.

This winter holiday, I went to Kunming with my family. Kunming is a very beautiful city, I think. The sky is blue and the air is clean. You can see many kinds of nice flowers everywhere. The weather there is great. It′s never too hot or too cold all the year round, so people always call it "Spring City".

Kunming is surrounded by beautiful scenery. And one of the most famous views is "The Stone Forest". It is really scenic.

We just stayed in Kunming for six days, but I felt very happy, and I like Kunming very much.

????Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West. The dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.

????To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year's Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.
