具体教学方式:

上课时,首先拿一张适合当地天气的图,如刮风、下雨或晴天等,然后问学生:What's the weather like today? What's the weather like today? 边说边指着外面的天气,然后再指着自己手里的晴天图说:It's sunny.It's sunny.Now answer my question all together. 第一部分完成之后,教师可以对学生说:Now let's play a game. Word-touching game. Three pupils are in one group. One person says"Cloudy", the other pupils touch the word quickly. Let's see who is the firsst and how many times each person wins. OK, let's start.

学生做完之后,可询问一下结果:Who wins eight times? Seven times? Six times?依次类推,并给予一定的奖励。

第四部分。可先让学生自己读该部分的内容,并把生词划出来。It's a story about the sun, the clouds , the wind and the rain. Please read it by yourselves. If you have some new words, underline them first. OK, start.然后教师把几个词写到黑板上问大家:Who can read this word? 比如: laugh, shout, cry, stop, always, away, feel, sky, above等。如果某个学生读得很好,就让该生带领大家一起读这些单词。Good. You read it one by one. Everybody reads after him/her please.

第六部分可以让学生自己学习,然后做对话表演,因为本部分是进一步复习前面的内容。

在做练习一和练习四的时候,一定要让学生到前面,将答案写在黑板上。教师要进行核对,一保证学生写的每个词是正确的。

教学活动 Let's play "the sun and the wind".

如果教室的场地比较大,教师可以让学生到教室的后面来玩这个游戏。教师先找出几个人,分别拿着rain, sun, wind, hot, cold, snow, wet的单词卡,让这些学生站到一边,其余学生都站到另一边,另外再找一个学生给指令。如果他说rain,拿rain这个单词卡的人马上要跑出来。与此同时,未拿卡的学生都要做出挡雨、防雨的动作。拿卡的人要在很短的时间内抓住一个没有防雨、挡雨的人。如果抓住得一分,被抓的学生出场。这几个单词的动作分别是:

rain,挡雨、防雨,要用手或东西遮住头部

sun,用说遮住太阳

wind,弯腰,同时用手捂住衣服和帽子

我所讲的这一课是小学四年级英语下册Unit4 It’s warm today. Part A第一课时的内容。是关于谈论天气状况的一些基本的形容词和句型,本课围绕weather一词展开,学习四个关于天气冷暖的单词,并运用所学内容当一回天气预报员,力在培养学生的自主学习能力和合作精神。本课时的目标为:

1.教学目标:能听、说、认读本课的重点单词hot warm cold cool和weather.

2.能力目标:能利用所学句子来表达不同地方的天气,如It’s warm/cold/ --- in ---。能用英语做简单的天气预报。

本课时的教学重点是:能听、说、认读单词warm,cold,hot,cool和weather.

难点是:能听说并熟练运用This is the weather report. It’s warm/cold /--- in ---。根据所给情景用英文做简单的天气预报。

为实现以上的教学目标,我是这样组织教学的。

一、热身阶段:为使学生在教学的开始便处于积极活跃的状态,让学生迅速进入英语课堂上来,随后采用课件引入第三单元歌谣,让学生随歌谣一起拍手说唱,歌谣是关于服装的,通过谈论我们现在所穿的衣服,以及肢体语言感受现在暖和的气候,很自然的过渡到天气weather一词。

二.新课呈现:教授学生认读weather一词,然后呈现一幅中国地图,出现北京,哈尔滨,拉萨,香港。以城市名命名,

用课件分别点出四个城市,并教授四个新词及表达天气的句子。这个环节,我采用教师带读,学生领读,现场默写的一些方法,很快就让学生掌握了这节课单词的教学任务。而且我采用单词和句子同时呈现的方式,通过个别读、开火车读、小组读,整体拼读等多种方式,让学生练习,以突破本课的教学难点。

在单词,句子学完之后,针对所学单词和句子,自编一首歌谣,同学生拍手说唱,然后让学生分组说唱,时刻存在一种团队和竞争意识。

一般疑问句是四年级下册的一个重点,要经过反复的练习来巩固。在教学中,我又设计了我们的新朋友MIKE来到中国,通过询问妈妈是否可以穿自己想穿的衣服,进一步加强对一般疑问句的理解。我还利用句型:What is weather like in ----?引导学生练熟句子:It is -----in -----.

创设情境,“我是小小天气预报员”活动 ,weather report.及英文天气预报,呈现一幅中国地图,在天气预报的背景音乐下,我走到中国地图,结合以前学过的句子以及今天新学的知识,播报天气,然后让学生挑战老师,也走到前面来施展,将学到的知识实际运用。

在教学Let’s play时,给学生四张天气卡片和写有城市名称的卡片,在小组中与同学一起交流,说说中国其他城市的天气。这样进一步巩固了所学新知,又锻炼了学生的口语。

这节课的板书利用简笔画和单词共同呈现的方式,既简洁又明了,便于学生接受和喜欢。 以上就是我这一节课的教学内容,仍有许多不足之处,望大家给予批评指正。谢谢大家

(一)热身、复习 (Warm-up/Revision)

3、请学生朗读P51对话后的句子:Is it cold?并说出意思。

5、教师分别把It’s和Is it并排写在黑板上, 并且把单词卡片:sunny,warm,cold,snowy,cool,cold, cloudy, hot, rainy, windy贴到黑板上, 教师说句子:It’s sunny and warm.

1、教师打开课件主体图,说:Look,here’s a mountain. It’s high. It’s long. Let’s climb it. wait! What’s the weather like there? What shall we wear? (运用适当的体态语言帮助学生理解以上句子) Now, listen.

2、教师放课件,学生在视听中理解对话意思。

3、教师告诉学生巨型山脉的气候通常差异较大,让学生了解相应的地理常识。

4、再次播放课件,教师随时定住画面提问:What does the dog say?

学生回答:It’s cool.

教师提问:What does the monkey say?

学生回答:It’s sunny and warm.

教师提问:What does the Zoom say?

学生回答:It’s cold and snowy.

(适时拿出单词卡片:sunny,warm,cold,snowy,让学生进行拼读练习,同时向学生渗透单词中的字母或字母组合的发音,帮助学生记忆。)

5、学生跟录音模仿朗读对话。

6、学生分小组表演对话,教师要适时点出对话中所体现的同学之间应相互帮助的主题。

C. Input: Pronunciation

1、试拼单词:hole,home,nose,rose。如果学生有困难,教师可以直接放录音让学生跟读。

2、说说字母“o”在这些词中的发音。
