Nowadays, an increasing number of college students are doing part-time jobs.In general, part time job can help us to learn a lot of staff which we can't know just by books. So,in the part time,I also take up kinds of part jobs to develop myself.

For instance,the part-time job I like to do is family education.I suppose that it can consolidate the knowledge I used to learn and increase the ability to communicate with others.In addition,I also take up the shopping guide to sale household appliances.This is a precious experience,which had a great influence on me .It taught me a lesson how to convince somebody to buy your goods.Of course,I take up other part-jobs,too.Some people think that there are many advantages for college students to have part-time jobs. Firstly, part-time jobs offer them opportunities to apply what they have learned in school and demonstrate their abilities. Secondly, it enables them to be more independent of their family and builds up their self-confidence. However, some other people hold that doing part-time jobs has more disadvantages. The main job of college students is to study, not to work. If they have part-time jobs, they may have to reduce their time for sleep, rest, study and activities.

As far as i am concerned,, students can choose to take up a part-time job according to their own situation. The most important thing for them is to keep a good balance between part-time jobs and his study.

First,working part-time job enhance the ability to communicate with others,especially strangers. Since we may contact with a number of people with different character,we have to treat them in a polite way. Faced with strange people,we ought to express politeness and enthusiasm. Hence,we must ask customers what they need and provided them with service politely.

Also,we can earn money by ourselves rather than ask our parents for it. Nowadays,many youngsters are so independent that they seldom accomplish one thing by themselves and look after themselves very well. Accordingly,working part-time job is helpful for us to share much stress with parents and support ourselves.

Third,it is a good way for us to strengthen working experience. Social competition is increasingly fierce ,so that many college students could’t search a satisfied job.As a result, we can work in advance and adapt the society easier. Only in this way can we have an advantage over other competitors in the future.

There are ,however,some disadvantages in working part-time job. On the one hand, it will distract our attention. As a college student,we are supposed to spend much time studying instead of working. On the other hand,we may be lack of free time to accompany with our friends and parents. We may have no time to enjoy beautiful life and relax ourselves.

Above all, working part-time have an great influence ,including good and bad,on them.

Last weekend, father got a notice that a university will be established near my community. I can’t agree more after a little time thinking. After looking first at the advantages and then at the disadvantages to the local people’s life in terms of library, the restaurant, the student cost, this essay will show that I do support the university being built in my community.

On the one hand, there are three main advantages to local people’s lives of the university being built in my community. The first advantage is that there will be a library. All around the world, the universities can’t be built without a least a library. The second advantage is the new restaurant. Wherever there is a university a lot of restaurants are built which can get much from the students. The last advantage is the student-costs. The students need to resume a lot of objects, which can push the development of local economic.

One the other hand, there are three main disadvantages to local people’s lives. The first disadvantage is that the library may only open for the students. The local people may be not able to get the permission to the library, which means it is no use for the local people. The second disadvantage is the restaurants may pollute the environment. The restaurants produce a lot of trash everyday and the trash will have bad smells if they are stored too long. The last disadvantage is the student

may make big noisy which influent the local people. As a university student, the students need to participate in many activities, which can’t avoid to make big noisy.

In my opinion, the advantages of the university are greater than the advantages and so I do not support its building. Though the library may only open for the students, it also encourages people to study meanwhile. The restaurants may pollute the environment; however, it won’t happen if there were some reasonable rules to limit the restaurants. And the last, comparing with the profit the students bring, the noisy is only a small matter. After all, noisy is really easy to solve now.

Every day I had to repeat the same work, which nearly made me mad. I almost gave it up, but finally I sticked it out until thenew semester began. The experience taught me a lesson that there is no free lunch. I have to work hard to get what I want. So the experience is very meaningful and I know the value of labour.
