Have you ever think of such a question like" Are there any differences between my self-image and my public image?" I insist that most people have thought about it. After asking several of my friends, I'm surprised to find that there are some differences between my self-image and my public image, especially in physical appearance and personalities. After knowing more about myself, I want to introduce who I am to you.

First of all, my physical appearance is ordinary, while there are some differences from others. In my eyes, I am short and a little fat of my leg. Actually, in others' eyes, it's totally different. I have long black straight hair， just like most Chinese girls'. I have big eyes while I am short-sighted. Just like an old saying goes, "All men search for beauty." So, to make me look more beautiful, I often wear contact lenses instead of glasses. I have small flat nose which makes me a little upset because most people like Roman nose rather than Chinese nose. I'm a middle-sized and slim girl. As for clothes, I prefer dark and casual clothing which makes me feel comfortable. This is me who looks very comfortable and enjoyable.

As for my personalities, I have much to say. No one will fail to notice the fact that

everyone has his or her own personalities, which is the key point to distinguish different people. What the most representative personality of mine is independent. I have a brother and a sister and I am the oldest child in my family. That is to say, I have to look after them and do many things by myself. I have lived in boarding school since I was a little girl and I have to take care of myself earlier than others. Just because of this, I become an independent girl. Sometimes, I may encounter some tough problems; however, I 'm never afraid to deal with them. Some friends think I am a brave girl. In fact, I just have no choice but to solve the problem bravely in that the person I can depend is myself. Some classmates who don't know much about me would say," You are a quite girl." As a matter of fact, what I am inside is optimistic and I always have the hope for living better, learning better and becoming better. I am friendly to everyone around me and if anyone around needs help, I'll help him or her without any doubt. I like to help others for it can makes me happy when the problem is solved.

I sometimes speak too straight and just say what I want to say which often offends people. In recent years, I've learned to hold my tongue instead of offending people and tried to think of others more than myself. This bad personality results in another bad personality---stubbornness. I will

say out the truth without thinking anyone' feeling and I wouldn't change my view of point until someone completely persuade me. A close friend of mine once said:" I just appreciate your never-flattering character." Whereas I know it sometimes hurts people. What' more, I am a little extreme according to some friends because I often defend those poor men against the injustice. There're so many unjust things in today's society and I know I couldn't change the phenomenon. The only thing that I can do is just being myself.

I am an ordinary girl, while there is no two leaves exactly the same. So I am different. No matter beautiful or clumsy, good or bad, I am who I am. Knowing more about myself, I'll continue to improve myself and to be a better person.
