My Vacation

I will have a seven-day National Vacation. Here is my vacation plans. The weather is getting cold, so the first day I plan to buy some clothes. I enjoy shopping and new clothes always make me happy. The second day I will go to supermarket to buy some delicious food with my friends. Then we are going to have dinner in the squad’s home. I think it will be very interesting to cook by ourselves. In the rest of the time I will go to visit places of interest in Hohhot. It is a good chance to know the Hohhot culture in concert. In addition, it is possible I would agree to go hiking with friends to enjoy the feeling of autumn. I am sure I will have a meaningful and wonderful vacation.

The food in Beijing is very delicious, we all like Beijing duck very much. People in Beijing were very friendly. Beijing is a beautiful city to visit. We had a good time there.

My morning (Xiao Yixuan)

Every morning I wake up when the clock alarms at 6:20. I am eager to sleep for a few minutes more. But I have to get up to wash and dress quickly. Then I have a quick breakfast. I usually eat noodles, eggs, milk and so on for breakfast. After that, I go to school by bike. It only takes me about 10 minutes to school. This is my meaningful morning. Then I start my study happily.

My lifestyle (Chen Yining)

I think I have a healthy lifestyle. Every morning, I get up early and exercise, because I know doing more exercise can help me keep in good health. For breakfast I usually eat eggs and drink milk. They are yummy and healthy. I really like them. Sometimes I also eat porridge. After that, I eat an apple, too. Because I know “ An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.” Next I also eat healthy food for lunch and dinner, like beef, cabbage, rice and so on. Sometimes I also eat junk food because I like it. But I know it’s bad for my health. So I don’t eat it often, only once a week. And don’t forget dessert. It’s delicious. Health is our first wealth. Do you think so?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well. I think you should get happy and relaxed. Maybe you should listen to Chinese pop songs. They can help you improve you Putonghua and release your pressure. It’s just like my English study life. I always believe in myself then just try to do your best to do better. Why don’t you do that? And I think it’s important to talk with teachers and friends, telling them your problems loudly. So you shouldn’t stay shy. You need to laugh more and often.

As for your cold. Don’t worry. You should see a doctor and get some advice from your doctor first. Then you need enough rest. I hope you will feel better soon.

My winter vacation plans (Du Yilei)

Winter vacation is coming. I’m so happy because I can do what I want to do. First I’m going to Harbin with my family. We’re going there by plane. I know the weather is snowy there now. Although it’s cold, I’m very excited, because I can make a big lovely snowman, go ice-skating and play with snow. Of course, I’m going to take photos of the snow. I think it’s very beautiful and there is an Ice and Snow Festival there. Oh, a wonderful trip! I can’t wait. Then I want to be healthier. How am I going to do that? I’m going to eat more healthy food and less junk food. And I’m going to exercise every day. These are my vacation plans, I think.

I had a really good holiday. I did many things and learnt many things, too. I learnt how to make dumplings and how to cook them. On New Year’s Eve I made a big meal for my family. Everybody was happy. They ate and talked about their life. After meal my father and uncles sang some old songs and told us young kids some stories about their childhood. At last we watched Spring Festival Get-together and said “Happy New Year” to each other. The winter vacation was really great and I had a good sleep.

After I finish my homework, I want to do something different I heard that Huling is a beautiful place, and I know the people there are very friendly and kind. After that I’m going to have a good dinner with my family. After dinner I’m going to sleep a lot. It’s a relaxing vacation. It can make me forget all my problems I can’t wait to take the vacation.

My dream vacation is good! I thought about going to France and Canada, but I decided on Hawaii because I heard that Hawaii is a good place to have fun. And I'm staying a week. There I will have many things to do. I'm playing beach volleyball with my friends. I'm lying on the beach and enjoying the sun. I'm also having a pair of sunglasses. It looks cool. I'm talking with my friends, too. At night, I'm going to bed early and getting up early, too. Great vacation! I can’t wait.

My dream vacation (Chen Binghui)

Sometime I think if I have much money and time, what should I do? Maybe I’m going to Paris. You know, Paris is very romantic. And Spain is a good place to relax myself. There are many old museums. But I decided on Greece. I think Greece is very different from the other countries. I often see it in the history books. I heard it’s a beautiful country with a long history. I think I will love it. Going there is my dream! I’m staying there for two months. I plan to have a really relaxing vacation. Greece sounds like a good place to forget all my problems! I’m taking walks in the streets. And I will go swimming with my friends in Aiqin Sea. We’ll have fun enjoying the sunshine. Sometimes I’m visiting many museums when I’m free. I’ll know much history about Greece and some interesting stories. I plan to learn the culture of Greece! At night, I’m going sightseeing myself and eating special food…

My winter vacation（He Ruiyun）

Today is February 10th. I have spent most time of my winter vacation. It was the same as my plan. My family visited Hangzhou, the interesting city on February 5th. We visited the West Lake, tool walks and so on. I did what I wanted to do. Luckily the weather in Hangzhou was snowy. That was my first time to see the snow. Wasn’t it a big surprise? We ran in the snow and had a snow ball fighting. We laughed all the time. We even ate ice. I couldn’t say how happy I was.

Oh, this winter vacation will be over. I had fun playing and relaxing this holiday. Every morning I read and finished my homework. It took me about four hours. It was hard for me. My eyes felt sore. But in the afternoon, I felt relaxed. First I went to bed for an hour. Next, I listened to music on the radio. After that, I went to my father’s school to play tennis with my parents. During Spring Festival, I helped my mother cook and do the chores. It was an unforgettable holiday. I will never forget it.

Dear Gina,

I just came back from Shanghai. I went there with my family. The weather there was sunny the whole week. And I can’t forget the food there. First, I ate Japanese food for breakfast. Of course, it was much more different form Chinese breakfast. Then I went shopping on one of the busiest streets------Nanjing Street with my mother. She said, “It’s the most crowded shopping street that I see!” After lunch, we visited the famous aquarium. I saw many strange sea animals . Finally, tired but excited, we went to Shanghai Pearl Tower. During the trip, I bought a lot of kinds of things , although most things were food. I think Shanghai is not only a beautiful city, but also a city with a long history. I will go there again.

My idol (Chen Yining)

My idol is my father. He isn’t an outstanding person or an unusual man. He’s only a father and a teacher. But I really admire him. He was born in 1968. As a father he’s really strict but also kind. He taught me for long when I studied in the primary school. But now he’s tired so he can’t teach me very often. He’s also busy but he always cooks dinner for us. As a teacher, he is loving. He always believes his students and he often talks with his students about study, life and so on. He always makes them feel relaxed and warm. And he also works hard. So I really admire him. He’s a good father and a successful teacher.

My idol (Pan Tian)

Do you know a famous singer called Jay? He is my idol. He always write many unusual songs to us. He was born on January 18th, 1979. When he was a small boy, he liked music very much and could hum some songs. So when he was three years old, he started learning the piano. He never gave up and learned it very hard. He took part in Taibei Singing Competition when he was 18 years old. He was very shy but he won the second prize. In 2000, he had his first CD called “Jay”. And the CD was very popular, so he became a famous singer. He wrote many songs about his family and his mother ---YE Huimei, a loving woman who loves Jay very much and spends her free time with Jay. Jay joined a famous movie in 2005. And this was his first movie. Now everyone knows Jay and everyone loves Jay. I am Jay’s fan. Do you like him?

My hometown Rui’an (He Ruiyun)

My hometown is Rui’an. It’s in Zhejiang Province in southern China. It’s still warmer. It doesn’t often rain or snow. Sometimes people wear a few clothes. It is enough. There are not only special food, but also many friendly guides for visitors here. Everyone likes being a good guide for you when you visit it. As for shopping roads, Hongqiao Road is the busiest in my hometown. There are so many kinds of stores that sometimes you don’t know which to choose. This is my beautiful hometown. When I grow up, I will work hard to make Rui’an better and better.

The best city in China (Miao Nan)

Hong Kong is the best city to visit on winter vacation. It’s in Southern China and it’s to the south of Zhejiang. Some cities are very cold in winter. However, Hong Kong is one of the warmest cities. So we can also do something that we want to do in winter. Hong Kong is an international city in China, so we can see some famous actors and athletes and communicate with foreigners. There are some attractive things such as fragrance. Though the hotels there are the most expensive, they have the most comfortable and cleanest rooms. Let’s go to Hong Kong next winter holiday together.

I’m going to be a professional writer when I grow up, because I think writing is the best way to enjoy my life. I want to write something what I like. And I want to move somewhere beautiful. Beijing sounds like a city that I could enjoy. And it’s a good place for me to become a famous writer. First, I’m going to read more books and write articles often to make my dream come true.
