Teaching goals:

Help the students to know the structures of the basic wrting about describing changes in the past and nowadays and master the useful expressions, then enable them to write a similar short passage.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Greeting

Step 2 Presentation

1. Show two picures and direct the Ss to talk about it, expecting them to make a conclusion: “Great changes have taken place in our hometown” by comparing these two pictures.

2. Brainstorming

Q: Where can changes be found?

3. Ask the Ss to discuss the question and then make a list.

4. Collect their results.

Step 3 Giving an example article

1、本题总分为25分,按5个档次给分。

2、评分时,选根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分。

3、词数少于80和多于120的,从总分中减去2分。

4、评分时,应注意的主要内容:内容要点、应用词汇和语法结构的数量和准确性、上下文连贯性及语言的得体性。
