For those children who are linguistically talented,they possibly show keen interest in foreign languages, and can start learning it much earlier than other children.Just as the saying goes,interest is the best teacher.It will not only have no negative influence on the learning of their own language,but will show more benefits gradually as time goes by.Kids who learn a foreign language are exposed to different cultures and customs and their horizons will be broadened, and the ideology well be refined in the process as well.Besides,a good foreign language ability can serve as a stepping-stone to the prestigious universities at home and abroad.Moreover,when they grow to adulthood,they will more often than not have a significant competitive advantage in the job market

However, if they are not so gifted in language acquisition,you’d better let your children develop foreign language skills when they attend secondary school rather than at primary school.Educators are expected to help students to explore and make full use of their potential other than pushing them to grasp a wide range of skills without considering their feelings.A foreign language skill is of great concern in the global village

in some ways,but it doesn’t mean children must start to learn it in their early age when they show no interests in it.It will not only cause stress and anxiety on their foreign language study but also increase distractions on their native language study.Since language skills are indispensible,you can help your children to develop a positive attitude towards foreign language learning as they grow up.
