有一天看到电视里的潜水员正从海里出来，看到他很累。我问爸爸是为什么？爸爸说：“是因为水压的问题。”我听得一头雾水。爸爸看见，我一副丈二和尚摸不着头脑的样子，就说：“让我们来做一个实验吧！”

爸爸让我找来了：1个2升的汽水罐、1卷胶带、1个钉子、1个平盘。

我放好汽水罐，用钉子在离瓶底2厘米、4厘米、8厘米和10厘米的小孔。然后用胶带吧三个空封住，将胶布撕开。我瞪大了眼睛，目不转睛地盯着，你知道出现什么现象了吗？三个孔的有什么不同吗？只见，离底部2厘米流出的水喷射的最远，其次是离底部4厘米的水，喷得最近的是离底部10厘米喷出的水。为什么会这样呢？我疑惑不解地盯着爸爸。

爸爸说：“这证实了谁的深度不同，水的压力不同。水越深，压力就越大；水越浅，压力就越小。所以离瓶底2厘米的小孔射得最远，离瓶底10厘米的小孔射得最近。”为了知道压力还和什么因素相关。我又做了个小试验：我用一根吸管往纸盒里加水。当水快到吸管口时，纸盒的底部裂开了多次试验，结果都是一样。原来，水压的重量有关。因为纸盒底部须承受的重量大，因此承受的水压也就是最大，所以纸盒的底部裂开了。看到这里，我恍然大悟，爸爸又对我说：“水压，在我们的生活中无处不在，比如说“锅炉”。爸爸一说完，我马上接口道：“还有热水器、洗衣机??”

确实水压无处不在，人类也利用水压的原理制作出了水泵水压传感器、自来水水压控制仪、物业管理水压力控制仪器??不管是水龙头流出的水还是河里的水都有水压。所以说水压对我们人类也作出了许多贡献。

发展至今的医疗技术，几乎可以将生活中所有常见的疾病通通治愈，被延长了寿命的人们，拥有更多的时间去拓展生命、享受生命。生物、化学等自然学科技术发展的突飞猛进，给原本好奇心强烈的人们带去了丰富多彩的精神食粮。人类在探索与发明的同时给自我价值以肯定，人们在享受科技带来的福祉的同时也收获了快乐。曾经，人们惊异于漫天的星斗；如今，我们已经能够将卫星送到太空。

曾经，人们思索着如何在这弱肉强食的世界中立足；如今，我们思索着如何在这明争暗斗的世界里生存。
