That day came at last,the day that I would have to say goodbye to Mom and Dad and all those in my family.I would head for Boston University where I would spend four years studying economics.I had been dreaming of that day all through my senior years.I thought I would be really excited about it for I had been working really hard both preparing for the college entrance exam here in China and the SAT and TOEFL test at the same time.But ever since the morning of that day,August 19,2011,a sense of lost filled me.For one thing,it's really hard to imagine that I would really leave my parents with whom I'd been living together for 18 years.And then a gush of fear just came to me,will everything be ok with me over there?
I kept silent all the way when dad drove mom and me to the airport.Mom was restless too with her apparently red eyes.Dad was trying to make it easy by telling us some jokes.
At the airport,after I got my boarding pass,it finally came the time when we had to part,mom came up to me,said nothing but hugged me tightly for several minutes with her tears coming down silent.Then she leg go with a smile and said,take good care of yourself,son.Dad came to hug me too.I felt the lump in the throat,holding them both in my arms and said,Thank you mom and dad.Take care.I definitely won't disappoint you.
Before I finally walked into the aisle,I turned around,waved and said byebye,tears in my eyes.
