Generally, seed dormancy is due mainly to the following: the existence of dormant embryo itself, that is unfinished embryo physiology and morphology after-ripening or ripening; embryo development hampered by inhibitory substances; embryo growth by the role of mechanical resistance. Ways to break the seed dormancy of the need for seed dormancy types are: acid, alkali treatment, mechanical injury, water immersion, low temperature reservoir laminated sand treatment and chemical treatment such as pharmacy.
