Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, e-book, which is short for electronic book, is more and more popular among teenagers. Obviously, it is more convenient and various to read by e-book than to read books in the library

. However, some people still go to the library when they need to read books or find some information.

My cousin, who is a student in senior three, always go to the library to do homework or review what she has learn for preparing her college entrance exam. She says that she can focus on her study in library and also can search something helpful for her study. Some of my classmates go to the library in college to read books when they are free. They usually find books which they are interesting in and then enjoy the reading in the whole afternoon. And some friends always borrow some books which they need in their major because they can’t understand the knowledge in their lessons.

Why is the library still necessary for people? In my opinions, the answer is obvious. The library can provide a quiet surrounding for people, which make them concentrate on their reading. Moreover, the library has some precious books, journals and videos for free, which they can’t search in the Internet or by the e-books. Therefore, the library can still exist.
