Final Render

Final Render

Final Render

最新HDRI(High Dynamic Range Image:高动态范围图像)技术:

最新的Brazil_0_3_55_beta版增加了3S和HDRI的功能;之前brazil的HDRI只是一种全局照明“虚拟”出来的而已,以后会将上图举例作一解释。如果读者仍是对HDRI的概念不甚理解,请与此查阅相关的http://www.debevec.org/~debevec/Research/HDR/ ;; http://www.debevec.org/~debevec/Probes/ ;;

Textures Baker

(Volume Lights)

(Texture AA)

Split(分离)、Advanced Fresnel(高级菲涅尔)和Metallic(金属)是三种不同的Raytrace计算方式。

Direct Angle定义了面向摄像机的物体表面的反射颜色,此值需要Amount调解才能看出效果;

以后会有举例;现在继续来了解面板里的其它参数。确定使Glossiness有效,并将其值恢复为100;勾选Blur Reflections/Refractions选项,强度Amount默认值为2(如图1.12所示)。渲染透视图观看结果(如图1.13所示)。很明显,这次渲染出的模糊效果跟刚才降低Glossiness产生出的效果有极大的不同,并且渲染速度比较快。这种模糊只能进行一次计算;如果有二次反射或折射的话,这种模糊就会失效。到底哪种效果比较好,那就要看您的喜好和场景需要了。取消Blur选项,勾选Refraction的Absorption(吸收),并将其值增大至100,再次渲染(如图1.14所示)。这次又有些“茶玻璃”的效果了;

Near Start和Near End是控制折射增强的范围;

Decay(衰减)有三个选项: None(无衰减)、Inverse(一次衰减)和Inverse Square(二次衰减)。

勾选Translucency(半透明),渲染透视图观察结果(如图1.15所示)。

Definition(Greek mythology)

1. Prometheus Prometheus is the son of Iapetus, brother of Epimetheus. After time of the creation, he and his brother were ordered to create man to rule over the plants and all kinds of living creatures on the earth. Prometheus with his brother fashioned man from clay. Prometheus loved man so much that he risked his own life to steal fire from Olympus but was discovered by Zeus. To give him punishment, Zeus sent him to the Caucasian Mountain, chaining him to a rock, having an eagle to bite his liver which grew back daily. Suffering for centuries, Prometheus was saved by Heracles, who killed the eagle and broke the chains.

2. Pandora In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman on the earth. Each god endowed her with some special charm to make her more attractive. She was made to punish mankind for acceptance of the heavenly fire. Zeus wanted to give Pandora to Prometheus while he refused. Pandora was later became the wife of Epimetheus. At the beginning the couple lived a happy life. However, out of curiosity, Pandora opened the box which was brought in by Hermes. Zeus had crammed into the box all evils of mankind. The world was then soon full of unhappiness and evils. She later opened the box at the second time and the hope flew out and seized the evils. The world was healed again. 3. Pandora’s Box

Zeus sent the box deliberately which filled with all the diseases, sorrows, vices and crimes, that afflict poor humanity, but the box also contained some good spirit, and it could heal the wound and though evil entered into world, brought untold misery, hope followed closely in its footsteps to aid struggling humanity, and point to a happier future.

4. Apollo Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto, and the brother of Artemis. The twin god were born on the island called Delo. In Greek mythology, Apollo was in many respects the role model of a Greek god. He represents order, harmony and civilization in a way that most other Olympian deities cannot equal. He was described as bright and rational and often associated with the cultivated arts of music and medicine. He was also a frenzied god of wine and women and was admired by many goddesses. He was a fighter, for he killed Python; he was a lover as well, for he fell in love with many deities and people.

5. Trojan War After the prince of Troy Paris stole Helen who was the most beautiful

women and the wife of Menelaus from Sparta, the Greek launched a war which lasted for 10 years, against Troy. But it was difficult to find Troy. In the end, the Greeks failed to take back Helen. The war happened when Telephus had gone to Greece in the hope of having wound cured. The first nine years of the war consisted of both war in Troy and war against the neighboring regions. It came to no result. Then clever Odysseus ordered a large wooden horse to be built. Its insides were to be hollow. Once, a number of the Greek warriors climbed inside. The rest of the Creek fleet sailed away. The wooden horse was taken into Troy and treated a victory by Trojans. That night, the Greek warriors came out from the horse, and they slaughtered the Trojans. Finally, the Greek won the war.

Definition(Bible)

6. Garden of Eden The Garden of Eden planted by God, is described in the Book of Genesis as being the place where the first man, Adam and his wife, Eve lived after they were created by God. It was a place that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. In the middle of the garden stood two trees, the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve enjoyed to its fullest before Eve was deceived by Satan and they ate the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But when they ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, they were banished from the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden forms part of the creation and is often used to explain the origin of sin and mankind’s wrongdoings. 7. Adam God formed man out of dust of the ground in his own image and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. God named the first man Adam and Adam called his wife who was made by his rib Eve. Adam lived in the Garden of Eden. He was told by God that he could freely from every tree of the garden except for the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But after Eve was deceived by Satan and ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, Adam also ate it. Instantly, his eyes were opened and his spirit became dead. Because of his disobedience to God, sin and death entered the world. Adam with his wife was banished from the Garden of Eden. 8. Eve Eve was the first woman made by Adam’s rib after God created world and Adam. She was named by his husband, Adam. Eve lived in the

Garden of Eden. Adam was told by God that he could freely from every tree of the garden except for the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But later, Eve was deceived by Satan and ate the fruit from the forbidden tree. At the same time, she gave the fruit to Adam. Instantly, her eyes were opened and her spirit became dead. Because of her disobedience to God, sin and death entered the world. Eve with his husband was banished from the Garden of Eden. She was cursed by God that having children will bring her sorrow, and her husband will rule over her. 9. God’s Creation

God’s creation also means Genesis in Hebrew. God created the world in 6 days. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

Since the earth had no form, the first day God created light and divided the light from darkness. The light was called ‘day’ and the darkness was called ‘night’.

The second day God created a great expanse of air to divide the waters below from the waters above and it was called heaven

The third day there appeared earth which is the dry land and the sea where waters all gather together. The earth produced grass and herbs and fruit trees, all yielding after their kind.

The fourth day God made sun and moon in heaven which ruled by day and night. He also made stars. And God let sun and moon be for signs and season, and for days and years

The fifth day waters abound with living creatures, and birds fly above the earth. They were all blessed by God.

The sixth day the earth was filled with living creatures and the first male and female were made by God called Adam and Eve.

The seventh day, the heaven and the earth were finished. God ended his work. God also blessed the seventh day and made it holy.

Besides, God also planted a garden in Eden. He created angles before He created humans. 10. Noah’s Ark After many years, God saw that man’s wickedness covered the earth, and that every imagination of his heart was only evil continually grieved the Lord. So God decided to destroy mankind except Noah who was loyal to him, by sending a big flood. God told Noah to make a wooden ark which would be covered with tar inside and out to avoid the flood. Noah was also told to take his family and a male and female of every animal by seven. Noah followed God’s order and survived while everything on earth was destroyed. As water receded, God blessed his family and established promise with Noah and his descendants that never again will all people and animal die from a flood. At last, God put his rainbow as a token of his promise.

11. The Tower of Babel Many generations after Noah, when the whole earth still spoke the same language, people traveled to a plain in the Middle East and settled there. They want to make a name of themselves. So, they decided to build a city for settling and a tower for worshiping the sun, moon and stars instead of the Lord himself, which was a direct refusal to obey God’s command to go out and fill the earth. Then, God mixed up their language, causing them to stop building the city. Therefore, the name of that city became “Babel”, which means confusion; because there the Lord multiplied language on the earth, causing people to scatter abroad. 12. The Exodus After Joseph, Abraham’s descendant, died, the new Pharaoh turned the Hebrews into slaves and treated them cruelly in fear that they would gain too much power. He gave orders to kill all the Hebrew newborn sons. However, his daughter named one Hebrew son Moses which means “Drawn out of water”, and raised him up. As Moses grew up, he was told by God to lead the Hebrew out of Egypt together with his brother Aaron. Each time God brought a disease to strike Egypt, the Pharaoh would promise to set the Hebrews free, but each time he would go back on his promise. So, God told the Israel to strike the top of the door frame and two side posts with the lamb’s blood and stayed at home until the next morning. At the same time, they must eat the lamb without breaking any of its bones with unleavened bread that night, which was called the Lord’s Passover. Finally, the Hebrew families were passed over while all the firstborn sons of Egypt were killed. God destroyed the Egyptian army who were pursuing the Hebrews in Red sea and helped the Hebrews walk over the Red sea and manage to get out of Egypt. 13. Ten commandments The Israelites lived in the wilderness with no water and no food after their rescue from Egypt. So, the Lord brought water and rained bread for them. Soon, the nation camped around a mountain in the desert of Sinai. Suddenly, the Lord descended and called Moses to him. Then the Lord wrote down these Ten Commandments. 1) You shall have no other gods before Me. (It means I’m the only God of you) 2) You shall not make idols or bow down to them, nor server them. (It means you are a valued person, you don’t need to worship others.) 3) You shall not use the name of the Lord your God disrespectfully. (It means your name can’t be the same as the God’s) 4) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (It means you should celebrate the Sabbath day.) 5) Honor your father and your mother. (It means you should take pride in your parents.)

A

When a tornado touched down in a small town nearby, many families were ruined. Afterward, all the local newspapers reported some of the families who suffered the hardest. And a particular picture especially touched me. A young woman stood in front of a totally destroyed mobile home with her young boy and a tiny girl, eyes wide with confusion and fear. I noticed that their sizes closely matched ours. And this would be a good chance to teach my children to help those who are less fortunate.

I gathered my 7-year-old twins, Brad and Brett, and 3-year-old Meghan and explained: ―We have so much, and these poor people now have nothing. We’ll share what we have with them.‖ I encouraged my boys to go through toys and donate some of their less favorite things.

The boy placed the toys they had chosen to donate into one of the boxes while I filled the third box with clothes. Meghan walked up with Lucy, her worn, faded, much-loved rag doll and hugged tightly to her chest. She paused in front of the box, gave her a final kiss, then laid her gently on top of the other toys. ― Oh, honey,‖ I said. ― You don’t have to give Lucy. You love her so much.‖

Meghan said with held-back tears: ―Lucy makes me happy, Mommy. Maybe she’ll make that other little girl happy, too.‖

I stared at Meghan for a long moment, wondering how I could teach the boys the lesson she had just taught me.

The boy had watched, open–mouthed, as their sister placed her favorite doll in the box. Without a

word, Brad rose and went to his room. He came back carrying one of his favorite action figures. And Brett ran to get some of prized Matchbox cars. I pulled all three of them into my arms.

I, who had wanted to teach, had been taught.

46. Which statement best describes the picture in the newspaper?

A. A broken mobile phone. B. A crying boy. C. A hopeless family. D. A happy girl.

47. What does the doll mean to Meghan?

A. Just a worn and boring doll. B. An expensive gift from mom.

C. The friend who makes her happy. D. One of her less favorite dolls.

48. What did the writer want to teach her children after she read the news?

A. To be warm-hearted. B. To be polite. C. To be smart. D. To be useful. A. Toothpaste. B. Shampoo. C. Coats. D. Body cream.

50. In the end, what would the writer probably do?

A. Never teach her children a lesson. B. Replace something old with new ones.

C. Call people to donate the poor family. D. Pack another box with less favorites.

B

Do you know that an amazing world of animal and plant life hides just under the water’s surface? They are coral reefs, the ―rain forests of the sea‖— beautiful underwater worlds. Coral reefs only cover one percent of the sea floor. But they support 25 percent of sea life! Coral itself is actually a small living animal. These animals live together right near each other. Only the outside of the coral is alive, though. The rest of it is made up of the bodies of earlier generations of coral. Coral comes in many different shapes — round, armlike or even flat. Coral gets its food from very small animals that move by slowly and also from algae (海藻).

Algae grow on the coral and stick together to create a reef. The algae give the reef its different colors. Normally coral reefs grow in the water which is not deep. So the sunlight can reach the algae. In warm water reefs can grow strong and healthy. Many different sea animals can find food and a home in .

Coral reefs have a lot to offer humans. They help protect the shore from the hitting of storms and large waves. They provide food and medicine for people. And reefs bring in billions of dollars to local development through jobs and tourism.

But coral reefs need help from people. Scientists predict that about two-thirds of coral reefs are at risk of dying. Humans play a big part in that risk. Pollution and overfishing all hurt the reefs. By 2040, a third of the world’s reefs could die because of harm caused by humans.

People can do a lot to save coral reefs. Recycling trash and saving water make less waste that goes into the sea. Traveling by bus or bike lowers air pollution, which may lead to global warming. Picking up litter on the beach also keeps the water clean.

If everyone takes these steps, change is possible. Healthy coral reefs mean a healthy ocean and a healthy Earth!

A

The bee, like the ant, is a social insect. Bees live in groups in a hive, and every bee does certain work that helps the other members of the group. In a beehive there are three kinds of bees: the queen bee, the drones (male bees) and the workers. The worker bees go from flower to flower collecting nectar (the sweet liquid collected by bees from flowers). Bees draw this nectar into the honey sacks of their bodies, and enzymes(酶) in their bodies turn the nectar into honey. This newly-made honey

zone(渗出物) passes slowly through the underside of the bees and is stored in cells in the hive to be used as food during the winter months. Some people are in the honey business and keep hundreds of hives. Beekeepers remove honey from the hive and pack it in bottles or jars. Honey usually appears as a clear golden-colored liquid, but this depends on the kind of flower from which the bees have taken the nectar.

31. Bees are called social insects because they _____.

A). live in groups B). live near people

C). need beekeepers D). work hard

32. What do bees do with nectar?

A) They change it into sugar.

B) They change it into honey.

C) They give it to the queen bee.

D) They use it to build their hives.

33. Honey is usually sold in _____.

A). beehives B). golden-colored packs

C). honey sacks D). bottles and jars

34. The color of honey in its final stage depends on the _____.

A) type of flower from which the nectar was taken

B) amount of sugar the beekeepers give the bees

C) quantity of water that the bees need

D) season in which the nectar is collected

35. What is the best title of this passage?

A) Social Habits of Bees

B) The Work of Beekeepers

C) The Production of Honey

D) The Three Types of Bees

B

To be a good teacher, you need some of the gifts of a good actor: you must be able to hold the attention and interest of your audience; you must be a clear speaker, with a

good, strong, pleasing voice which is fully under your control; and you must be able to act what you are teaching, in order to make its meaning clear.

Watch a good teacher, and you will see that he does not sit motionless before his class: he stands the whole time while teaching; he walks about, using his arms, hands and fingers to help him in his explanations, and his face to express feelings. Listen to him, and you will hear the loudness, the quality and the musical note of his voice always changing according to what he is talking about.

The fact that a good teacher has some of the gifts of a good actor doesn’t mean that he will indeed be able to act well on the stage, for there are very important

differences between the teacher’s work and the actor’s. The actor has to speak words which he has learnt by heart; he has to repeat exactly the same words each time he plays a certain part, even his movements and the ways in which he uses his voice are usually fixed beforehand. What he has to do is to make all these carefully learnt words and actions seem natural on the stage.

A good teacher works in quite a different way. His audience takes an active part in his play: they ask and answer questions, they obey orders, and if they don’t

understand something, they say so, which is his class. He cannot learn his part by heart, but must invent it as he goes along.

.

A. how to become an ordinary teacher

B. what a good teacher should do outside the classroom

C. what teachers and actors could learn from each other.

D. The similarities and differences between a teacher’s work and an actor’s.

37. A good teacher .

A. knows how to hold the interest of his students

B. has a low voice
