***speak,say,tell,talk几个词的区别

1.speak （1）后面直接接语言名词，例如：speak Chinese

（2）表示说话的能力。e.g. The baby can’t speak.

(3)speak可用于打电话时句型May I speak to sb.

e.g. ——Hello! This is Tom.May I speak to Mary?

——Speaking .

2.tell(1)告诉。常有以下四个短语：告诉某人某事tell sb. Sth .

e.g. 1.Can you tell me your phone number?2.Can you tell me the way to the post office? 告诉某人要做某事tell sb. to do sth.

告诉某人不要做某事tell sb. not to do sth

告诉某人关于某事tell sb. about sth.

(2 )讲。后接故事，笑话。

e.g. 1.Jack likes telling stories. 2.He often tells us interesting stories.We all like him very much.

给某人讲? 用tell sb. sth= tell sth to sb.

3.say(1)后面接具体内容，就像有引号那样的，想表达某个人说什么具体事情的时候用say

talk on the phone 表示在电话里谈

talk with sb face to face 译为和某人面对面谈话。即和某人面谈。

***英语四个看的区别：look/look at, see, watch，read但用法不同。

1. look为不及物动词，后面不能带宾语，常单独使用，以引起对方注意。

例如： Look! That's an English car. 看！那是一辆英国的小汽车。

又如： Look! Tom is over there.看！汤姆在那儿。

look at是由动词look 与介词at组成的词组，相当于及物动词，后面可以带宾语，侧重"看"的动作。例如： 1.Look at the blackboard, please.请看黑板。

2.Look at the picture/ the photo. 3.Look at your watch(手表)and tell me the time(时间)

2.see为及物动词，(1)意思是"看见，看到"，侧重"看"的结果。

例如： How many birds can you see in the tree?你能看到树上有多少只鸟儿？

又如： Can I see your new pen? 我可以看看你的新钢笔吗？

(2) see还有看望的意思 ，see sb. 如：see grandma . see my friends.

常用的短语还有see a doctor 看病 see a film 看电影 see a play 看戏

(3)I see 译为“我明白了。我知道了”。口语里常说Isee ,I see.

3.watch 是及物动词，意思是"观看、注视"，watch强调“专注地看”，有欣赏的意味，用来指注视移动着的物体，如看电视watch TV 、看球赛 watch ball games/matches、看电影watch a movie 等。

Tom’s family are watching TV now.他们正在看电视。

例如： Do you watch TV at night?你晚上看电视吗？

4.read指“看”时实指“阅读”，常用于看书 read a book. read books，看报 read a newspaper ,read newspapers. 看杂志 read a magazine/ read magazines.看小说 read a novel ,read novels等。例如： I like reading at home.我喜欢在家看书
