篇一:The best day of my life
The best day of my life
The best day of my life is to take my first job salary.
I started my first job in 18 years old. After graduating from high school, I was employed as a ticket seller on a small bus with RMB300 monthly salary in my hometown. I thought it was the lowest salary, but I decided to do it as I didn't have degree and job experience.
In the beginning, It had not only a lot of things to learn, but also a lot of stuffers to bear. I did my best to handle them. I was waiting my salary as I have no money and could not buy anything I wanted. I was waiting and waiting. In a sunny day, I got it! How excited I am! "I got my first salary in my life. I will remember this moment forever." I said to myself. I had my first own money. In the day, I thought my giving was returned. In order to thank myself I want to have a good dinner and buy gifts for my friends. So I asked my classmate to have a dinner and ordered favourite dishes. It is no doubt that we ate completely. It is a long time we hadn't have a delicous dinner. We felt happy. After the dinner we went to shopping, and I bought a watch for myself.
Although the money is litter, I could buy everything what I want. It was enough in the time. I satisfied.
I have had a best day in my life. I satisfy.

Title: The Best Day of My Life
Date: July/16th/2012
Instructor name: Jesse Ferguson
It was on June 1st 2011 that I spent the most meaningful day in my lifetime. I will never forget that graduation ceremony which let me become an adult with awareness of responsibilities from an innocent child.
At two o’clock in the afternoon, all graduates in campus were called to convene in the main square. No one actually paid attention to complying with the order in time; therefore, we, 600 students, spent around one hour on gathering together, which made headmaster pretty mad.“Congratulations, my graduates who do not even know how to assemble!” I can still remember the headmaster’s harsh sarcasm as an attention getter. “All of you have already completed the education on studying, and most of you are over eighteen years old, but it seems that your educations on being responsible adults have not even started yet!” The headmaster continued, “Although you have graduated from this school, as long as you are attendant students, you have responsibilities to obey the rules. The previous success, your graduation, is past tense. What you should do currently is consider how to become responsible adults.”
Mr. Principal finished his speech at four thirty. With the music in the end, every class

marched toward the gate like awell-trained army, and every student walked in step with each other like soldier without carelessness and hilarity. At the moment we left the campus, some broke into laughter. It seemed that nothing had changed on them. The majority of the rest students still immersed in the speech that principal delivered with their eyebrows frowned.I was one of those who thought deeply about what headmaster said and asked myself again and over again:“What is my responsibility? What goal should I achieve in the future? ”If there was a boundary inside me between a child and an adult, I would say it is this first of June.

第一节:阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中选出最佳选项。 A
It's not easy to find a person with the qualities it takes to be a hero. I didn't really understand the meaning of the word" hero" until my third year in the college.
If you saw her, you wouldn't think she really looks the part, but she is stronger than Superman could ever be. Her name is Sandra Keierleber. I first met her at volleyball tryouts(选拔赛) ,but didn't notice anything special at first. As the week passed, however, she showed she had more heart than anyone. She stood out because she never gave up, no matter what.
Sandra isn't the tallest or the fastest--in fact, this was her first time playing volleyball and it showed--but that didn't stop her. She was always the first to arrive and the last to leave. By the end of tryouts she had found a place in everyone's heart. When the name list for new members was put up, we all waited nervously as she checked. When she stood at the door and smiled happily ,all we could do was cheer.
After Sandra made the team, she worked even harder to improve her game. When she asked for help, we gladly taught her. She also-became our fan, attending almost every school game and even joining us in the city games. We all like her, because she never thinks about doing things the easy way, or loses that smile. Because of her great efforts, she makes herself a true hero--and my hero, too.
51. What did the writer think of Sandra Keierleber at the beginning?
A. Strong. B. Honest. C. Pretty. D. Common. 52. Sandra began to play volleyball when

C. She does things in an easy way. D. She is popular with her teammates. 54. The writer is most probably
A. a news reporter B. a college student
C. a story teller D. a college teacher
55. Why does the writer think of Sandre Keierlever as a true hero?

When I was seven years old my mom was diagnosed(诊断) with cancer. The doctors told us my mom might be saved with surgery(手术). But it could also kill her. She chose to have it.
The day before the surgery I was off school, and my mom planned the best day of my life, everything I loved at seven and everything that would put a smile on my face. The day began with her waking me up saying, ―Kate, I have a surprise for you. Come and see.‖ The surprise was a doll I had wanted for the longest time. Throughout the day, she told me everything that she thought I would need to know to grow up and be a good person; she told me to be the best I could be and that I would always make her proud. We had a picnic in the park, and it was so cold that we moved to the car. The day was filled with laughter. For the first time in a long time I could see she was really happy. I would never forget her smile, or the way her eyes shone as if we were the same age. It was the best day of my life, and I will never forget the conversations we shared.
best day of my life could be her last and this could be the last day I would remember with her, the last one we shared. I also understand how unselfish a mother is. 56. Who made the decision to have the surgery in the story? A. The doctors. B. The patient. C. The writer. 57. What did the writer’s mother do the day before the surgery? A. Germs(细菌) are everywhere. You can’t see them, but they are on your desk, on your computer, and even in the air!
Like people, germs move around the world. They fly with us on planes. When food, clothes, and other things travel around the world, germs travel, too. Some germs are safe, but some are dangerous. Germs cause illnesses like colds and the flu.
篇四:The Best Day
The Best Day
I'm five years old it's getting cold I've got my big coat on
I hear your laugh and look up smiling at you I run and run
Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides look now the sky is gold I hug your legs and fall asleep on the way home
I don't know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you're not scared of anything at all
Don't know if Snow White's house is near or far away
But I know I had the best day with you today
I'm thirteen now and don't know how my friends could be so mean I come home crying and you hold me tight and grab the keys And we drive and drive until we found a town far enough away And we talk and window shop till I forgot all their names
I don't know who I'm gonna talk to now at school
But I know I'm laughing on the car ride home with you
Don't know how long it's gonna take to feel ok
But I know I had the best day with you today
I have an excellent father
His strength is making me stronger
God smiles on my little brother
Inside and out he's better than I am
I grew up in a pretty house and I had space to run
And I had the best days with you
There is a video I found from back when I was three
You set up a paint set in the kitchen and you're talking to me It's the age of princesses and pirate ships and the seven dwarfs
Daddy's smart and you're the prettiest lady in the whole wide world
Now I know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you were on my side even when I was wrong
And I love you for giving me your eyes
Staying back and watching me shine and I didn't know if you knew So I'm taking this chance to say that I had the best day with you today.
