There is a person that I thank for in my life, this is my English

teacher. She is my favourite teacher who helps me out. Now let me tell you why.

I had a bad score in English when I first met her one years ago. It made me more worry and nervous. From then on, our English

teacher started to spend her free time teaching me and I paid more attention to study. After several exams, the score of my English improved thanks to her.

As well as helping me with my English she always takes care of me. For example, once when I got a bad cold, It was her that look after me call my parents to pick me up and because of this I became lively again soon.

Anyway it’s my English teacher who not only gives me the care but also helps me improve my English. What’s your favourite teacher?

My favorite teacher was a math teacher I met when I was in junior high.The first time I met her,I thought she was a very strict teacher.But after days of living with her,I found she was very kind and patient to students.Her name was Ms Xu Fang.She has changed the way that I think about mathematics.

I used to despise math,and it used to be my weakest subject .I just couldn’t figure out how all those numbers would take role in my life,and after all,they weren’t anything important to me personally.

Before I met this teacher ,Mrs Xu ,in junior high,I never realized how much teachers cared,nor did I ever take the time to thank them.Through her I was able to acquire a love for math.I always respected my teachers,but I was never really aware of the amount of work a teacher puts into their job.

Also,she was never afraid to be funny,or to be herself in front of the class,and students appreciated that.I liked her a lot,not only because she was a good teacher,but because she reflected her personality in her teaching.

After I graduated,I have met many other teachers.But she has had the most influence on me.I also want to be a teacher like her.

在我们的求学路上会有很多很多的老师，他们教学方法不一样，处理事情的方式不一样，在我曾经遇到过的那些老师中，每一位都很好，都会为了我们的学习和发展下很大的功夫，但在我的眼里，最开明，最能够包容学生的，最能为学生着想的就是正在教授我们的英语老师。他从不摆老师的架子，平等地尊重每一个学生，从不轻易体罚学生，有时，某个学生调皮实在是太过分了，英语老师也只是皱着眉头，轻轻地敲一下课桌，这样一来，就有许多学生认为英语老师是软柿子了，结果可想而知，做出了许多荒唐可笑的事来。

英语老师上课是非常有特色的，标准的美式口语，千变万化的面部表情，富有激情的手势，我并不喜欢英语，但是很喜欢英语老师的课，就是为了享受老师那有趣的样子。他的脾气实在是太温和了，在他课堂上都不好意思违反纪律，因为那样实在太让人羞愧了。然而，也有不懂事的。有位同学竟公然在课堂上玩手机，由于操作失误发出了铃声。这铃声应该深深地伤害到了英语老师。他非常冷漠地说了一句：“你们玩吧。这课也就用不着上了。”说完，表情痛苦纠结地走出了教室。

那一节没有善终的课，让我的心情很沉重。我也曾在他的课堂上走过神，开过小差，也有小动作，一想到这些，我的眼泪都快下来了。

后来，我与英语课代表一起去向英语老师道歉，老师一摆手，说：“没事，没事！”他的宽容大度让我们更加羞愧，我对他油然产生了一种敬畏。

下一节课，英语老师竟然当众反省了自己错误，说自己太情绪化了，并向所有同学道歉，语重心长地同我们讲了许多心里话。他认为师生之间应该是平等的，他是这样说的，也是这样做的。能够向学生承认错误的老师已经不多见了，他却那样的真诚道歉。

他曾经对我说过这样的话，不要常常把自己与别人做比较，关键是自己要和自己比，努力了就行！

唯一不喜欢英语老师的一点，就是他特别爱抽烟，如果英语老师能戒烟，那该有多好呀！

这就是我的英语老师，我最爱的老师，我们都爱他。
