My Favourite Season

My favourite season is autumn. It is a harvest season. Farmers are all busy getting in the crops. There are lots of different fruits in the season, such as apples, oranges, bananas and so on. The Mid-Autumn Festival is the Chinese traditional festival in autumn. People often have a big family dinner to celebrate it. The whole family have mooncakes and admire the full moon in the open air at night.

It is cool in autumn. So autumn is a good season to travel. National Day is on October 1. Lots of people go out for a trip during the holiday. We can learn a lot about the history of our country from the trip. I want to visit Beijing, the capital of China, with my parents this autumn. People also do many different kinds of sports in autumn. For example, children often fly kites in the park. The young like climbing the hills and having a camping trip at weekends. The old can go out for a walk and do some exercise.

There are many beautiful flowers in autumn. Chrysanthemums are the most popular. They have a sweet smell.

三、学情分析

五年级大部分同学学习习惯良好,学习积极性高,能较好地完成学习任务。但不足的地方就是学习比较浮躁,两极分化的现象比较突出。不少同学在学习上好胜心强,乐于学习,勇于克服学习上的困难,思维活跃,有较好的学习习惯,有较有成效的学习方法;但也有不少同学厌倦学习,畏惧困难,学习方法不当。

五、教学反思

经过精心的设计,本课做到了设计思路较清晰,教学各活动循序渐进,从单词的复习到句子的运用,到文段的写作,大部分学生能在老师的指导下,一步接一步地学习英语文段的写作。

在本节课的教学中,教师把英语写作和中文的写作区分开来,做到了让学生利用所学的英语知识,最大限度的发挥写作能力,并能使得读和写有机结合。

本课时采用任务型教学,利用学生喜爱的游戏和竞赛活动,调动学生的表现欲望以及其写作的积极性,在整个写作过程中,体现出学生主体教学的思想。

值得思考和改进的地方:

1.学生虽能在课堂教师的指导下进行作文基本结构的写作,但缺乏分层教学,由于学生水平的不统一,教师要对水平较高的同学进行拓展教学。

2. 由于英语教学的局限性,学生还不能自由发挥英语写作的能力,但可以通过其他形式,发展学生的创作力,发挥学生的创新精神,使学生不应该只拘泥于教师课堂的框架中。

《Unit 2 My Favourite Season》教学设计

一 教学分析

(一)教材内容分析

人教课标版教材的的编写以话题为纲,以交际功能和语言结构为主线,逐步引导学生能够运用英语完成由实际意义的语言任务,即:话题---功能---结构------任务。本课是人教课标版小学英语五年级下册Unit 2 My Favorite Season第一课时,包括A部分Let's Learn ,Let's star,Let's find out。主要学习四季单词并且简单描述自己喜欢的季节。内容与学生的生活联系密切。符合小学生兴趣的需求,易于学生理解和掌握。第二单元主要话题之一是season,所以首先应让学生掌握四季单词的名称,这是十分重要的,也是必要的,是接下来的话题学习的基础。

(二)教学对象分析

小学生的模仿力和记忆力强,爱玩、爱唱、爱游戏、爱活动,他们学习英语的基本形式是模仿,这就要求教师选择合适的方法,让学生易于接受。五年级学生在已学习了两年英语之后,具备了一定的英语知识,有自己独到的思维意识,重视在群体或伙伴交往中的地位和作用。因此,采用表演,对话交流以及任务型的教学模式进行学习语言,运用语言是最恰当的。学生在第四册Unit 4中已进行过weather的认知和应用。在第五册Unit 3关于食物的话题中曾接触过What’s your favorite fruit?语句,对本课时内容有了一些相关知识的储备。

(三)教学方法分析

结合本节课的教学内容,充分考虑到五年级学生的认知规律与能力,以学生为主体,以人为本,运用现代信息技术优化教学手段——交互式电子白板,采用情境教学法、全身动作反应法、整体语言教学法、任务型教学途径等激励情趣,提高综合运用语言的能力,从而提高英语课堂的效率。

二 教学目标

(一)知识与技能目标 知识目标:

1.会听说读写本课四会单词:spring, summer, fall, winter, season 。

2.会听说认读句子:What’s your favourite season?并能在实际情景中进行运用。 能力目标:

1.能够用What’s your favourite season?询问并表达最喜欢的季节。

2.引导学生注重小组合作学习,培养沟通和交流的能力,让学生有兴趣用英语表达,能积极参加与课堂活动。 (二)过程与方法目标

运用交互式电子白板、flash、图片、视频等多媒体的方法与手段;通过创设情境、小组合作、TPR活动,等多种形式;采取激励策略,任务型教学和多层次评价促使学生多说、多练;在快乐、自主、合作、探究中学会关于季节的句型。 (三)情感态度、学习策略及文化目标:

让学生了解有关全国气候差异的常识,引导学生注重与人合作,互相交流,沟通情感,有兴趣并积极地参与到课堂的活动中来。加强学生英语策略的培养,为学生的终身学习奠定基础。

1、播放Let’s chant:(四年级下册Unit4) Mmm! It’s warm today! Take off your jacket! Phew! It’s hot today! Put on your T-shirt! Oooh! It’s cool today! Put on your sweater! Brrr! It’s cold today! Put on your coat! 配上形象的动作说唱,充分调动学生的积极性。

(设计意图:通过课前的热身活动,活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的学习兴趣,为本课的教学创造积极的条件)。

2、Use “ask and answer ”to lead in new lesson.

活动方式:师生问答。

T:Which words about weather can you hear? (warm、hot、cool、cold)复习以前学过的内容。 T:What’s the weather like today?(It’s warm .) T:What’s your favorite weather ? (Warm days)

T: Do you know any other weather ? ( rainy , sunny , cloudy , snowy , windy)

教师呈现四季图片:What’s the weather like in this picture ? And what about this one ?教师将学生的回答有意识的分成四季进行板书,并将图片贴在相应的位置上。

1、让学生猜出season的汉语意思,并尝试发音[si:], [zn]→[’si:zn]

(教学意图:本环节在单词教学中渗透语音教学,让学生在新授课中逐步掌握单词拼读、拼写的方法)

There are four seasons in a year. Spring Summer autumn winter .My favourite season Is summer .Summer is the hottest season of the year.

Some people like it, some people don't like .But I like summer .

Students usually start vacation in the summer, so I also have two months summer vacation I will find classmates who would like to travel.This is one of my summer program last summermy classmates and i went to the zhangjiajie by air.

It was a beautiful place,There were many high mountains,many trees and many interesting places. Such as: gallery, small trains, temple, local food, where a lot of things happened. what left us deeply impression was to climb up Tianzi mountain, it took us five hours to get top and back. Because of its steep .All though we felt very tired.i learned to do everything persisted.it was a very memorable summer vacation.

Most people often go swimming in summer, I will as well go. So where is a great plan for me Is to go to beach to enjoy water and sunshine.

And during summer holiday tere are a lots of foods such as:cherry,Peach ,plum ,watermelon And also many types of ice-cream are waiting for you to taste.that’s very nice.

Out of the four seasons I like summer.the reason been that.Spring makes people drowsy and lazy.Autumn is so changable that its easy for people to get coldWinter is the coldest season of the year, I'm afraid of cold. So I don't like.
