Some years ago, my dad, an attorney, took me to a fancy restaurant in Now York City. When the bill arrived, there was a $1.50 charge for bread and butter. Dad paid the bill, including the charge for bread and butter. However, the next day, he sent a letter to the resturant stating that the charge was uncalled for. Enclosed in the same envelope was a bill for $500 in legal services.

Someone from the restaurant called immediately and asked, "What is this $500 bill for? We never ordered any legal services."

College Students’ Job Hunting

In recent years, the employment of college students is becoming more and more of a problem. Many college student are faced with a serious challenge when they graduated. We all know that economic crisis may increase the high unemployment rate. Except that, I think there still have some factors in the problem of college students' job hunting.

Frankly speaking, many people can find their jobs. But lots of college students hold the opinions that they are highly educated. So they should fit for the high salary job. Most college students are unwilling to choose the jobs which they consider are not good enough. They aimed too high. What's more, in some large enterprises are likely to hire people who has lots of experience. Just the opposite, most graduated students are lack work experience let alone to find a job according with their major.

Considering the seriousness of unemployment of college students, I think both society and students should make great efforts. First of all, students need to change their views on jobs. They should realize their ability and improve themselves in every aspect. Moreover , college and some social groups should provide more trains opportunities. Only in these ways, college students can find a better job and have a great future. 83继续完善

篇五:英文小作文

Juanita

Taking the train and taking a long-distance bus on a trip.

When you are going on a trip, would you like go by train or a long-distance bus? I prefer taking the train rather than taking a long-distance bus. Taking a long-distance bus for a trip costs much money, though it is much cheaper than taking a plane, it is still not the cheapest way for a long-distance trip. It is not very convenient for people to take a long-distance bus. When you are taking a bus, there is little room for you to walk around, and there is no toilet for you to take. In addition, when you are going on a trip by bus, the bus is running on the high way, what you can see is almost the same. In the contrast, taking the train for a trip is a cheaper way. It costs less than a bus. Also, when you are taking a train, you can walk around to relax yourself, because it is much more capacious than in a bus. It serves you with boiled water and toilet, makes it fit to the long-distance trip for you. In addition, you can enjoy different scenes outside of the train windows.
