熊爸爸在一家公司上班。他的老板山猫先生很严厉,要求所有的员工干什么事都必须准时,否则轻者扣钱,重者炒鱿鱼。

一天早晨,熊爸爸梦见闹钟铃响,急忙睁开双眼。哇,怎么比平常晚了半个小时!这时才想起昨晚睡得太晚,忘记定闹钟啦!他赶紧起床,匆匆忙忙洗漱完毕,飞快地奔向楼下的小店,买了一杯豆浆和五根油条。他给了老板大花狗10元钱,顾不上等待找零钱,连忙奔向他停在路边的“保马”车。眼看就要到车边了,悲剧发生了——不知谁在地上扔了两块大大的香蕉皮,熊爸爸跑得太匆忙,不小心正好踩在上面,“啪”的一声摔了个四脚朝天,那杯浓浓的豆浆不偏不正刚好泼到了他自己的车尾的号码牌上,而那五根大大的油条也飞到了旁边的垃圾桶里去了。他顾不上那么多了,爬起来一瘸一拐地上了车,连忙发动车向公司赶去。 很快到了一个十字路口,由于匆匆忙忙,又加上还有点儿恍恍惚惚,熊爸爸没注意到当时是红灯就直接冲了过去。而这一切正好被在路口巡逻的黑猫警长看得一清二楚。他启动警笛紧紧地追上去,拦住了熊爸爸的“保马”车。而熊爸爸还不知道这究竟是怎么回事,对黑猫警长发火说:“干什么?干什么?别耽误了我的上班时间!我眼看就要迟到了!”黑猫警长不紧不慢地给他敬了个礼,然后说道:“对不起,熊先生!你刚才闯红灯了,难道你不知道?哦。。。。。。等等。。。。。。你的车牌号怎么会看不清楚,上面弄的是什么东西?你是不是故意弄脏它,然后存心闯红灯?”

“噢。。。。。。天啦!不是这样的!是这么回事。。。。。。”熊爸爸不得不给黑猫警长解释清楚刚才发生的“悲剧”。

黑猫警长相信了他不是故意弄脏车牌的,但闯红灯是事实,所以警长还是给熊爸爸开了一张伍佰元的罚单,还提醒他尽快去警察局交罚款。

熊爸爸不敢再说什么,赶紧收下罚单,上了车继续向公司赶去。

终于到公司的停车场了! 他看了一眼手表,离山猫老板规定的上班时间仅仅只剩下5分钟了!他想以最快的时间停好车,可是他来的太晚了,好的停车位都没了。他绕来绕去,终于找到了一个很窄的车位,一边是棵大树,另一边是办公楼的墙壁。悲剧再次发生!停车时他太着急,只听“刺啦”一声,车屁股在大树上狠狠地刮了一下。他赶紧下车查看,“噢。。。。。。天啦!”他心爱的“保马”车尾部好大一块漆没有了,还有一个大窝!他没时间心疼了,离上班时间只剩下最后一分钟了。这个月熊爸爸已经连续迟到两次了,他这次再迟到的话,肯定会被山猫老板炒鱿鱼的!

熊爸爸一路狂奔,冲向办公室那扇大大的透明玻璃门。“呯”的一声,他居然没注意到玻璃门是关着的,脑袋重重地撞在了门上。熊爸爸当下眼冒金星,额头上很快鼓起一个汤圆一样的大包。他顾不上揉一下额头上的伤,忍住疼痛,打开玻璃门,快步跨进了办公室,差一点儿撞上了站在门口的山猫先生。

山猫老板抬头看了一下挂在墙上的闹钟,此时离规定的上班时间只剩下最后的5秒钟。他没说什么,只是威严地看了一眼熊爸爸,转身回他的办公室去了。

熊爸爸用手摸了一下满脸的汗水,一句话也不敢说,赶紧坐到他的座位上,跟其他的同事一样,开始了一天的工作!

一、情景导入,激发兴趣

1、创设“小熊服装店”的情景,引出课题

师:你们看我是谁呀?

1. Kathy's Schedule

Kathy is a writer.

She works for a newspaper, and she also writes books.

Her daily schedule varies.

Her schedule changes everyday.

She often works late at night.

Sometimes, she gets up so late that she doesn't have time for breakfast. For example, she didn't get up until 9:15. She didn’t have time for breakfast. She just ate a cup of coffee.

Then she worked on her computer at home until 11:30.

2. Diane's Schedule

Diane is a house wife and a mother.

Her husband, Dick, drives a taxi.

Their two children both go to school.

Their school is about 20 minutes away by car.

This morning, Diane got up early at 6:30.

She cooked breakfast for her family at 7:00.

At 7:15 they sat down together and ate breakfast.

At 7:45 she drove her kids to school.

After taking her kids to school she and a friend went shopping together. They went to a shopping center and bought some clothes for their children. After that she and her friend went to a health club.

They stayed at the health club for about an hour.

Her friend is trying to lose weight.

Now Diane is back at home.

She is cleaning the house.

Besides energy from the sun, we also need water and air.

Without water and air, there would be no life.

Without enough water, there aren't enough plants and trees.

Plants and trees produce the air that we breathe.

We also need water to grow our food.

In some parts of our world, there isn't enough water.

Without enough water, food can't grow, and people don't have enough to eat.

Condition must be right for life to exist.

When conditions are not right, life cannot exist.

For example, millions of years ago there were forms of life that no longer exist.

They died out because conditions changed.

Now all of us face the problem of pollution.

Pollution changes the conditions that we depend on.

Polluted air makes us sick, it’s bad for our health.

Polluted air also kills the plants which give us clean air.

Polluted water kills animals and fish, it also poison our food supply. Automobiles are a major cause of air pollution.

Factories such as this one cause lots of pollution.

Clear air and clean water, we need them both to live our lives.

The mountains, the rivers, the forests and all of nature are a part of us. This beautiful planet of ours is our home.

To take care of the world is to take care of ourselves.
