夜深了，我静静地躺在床上，翻来覆去睡不着，妈妈给我烤的面包的香味在厨房里弥漫着，久久不散。

忽然，从厨房里传来说话声，我仔细一听，原来是火炉、煤气灶、微波炉三兄弟在议论。 火炉大哥正在埋怨：“想当年家里烧水、做饭、取暖哪样能离开我？女主人对我精心照料，生怕我熄灭了。现在却把我冷落在一边。”

煤气灶也随声附和：“我现在的处境也十分可怜。当初我刚来这里女主人也对我关爱备至。每次做完饭都把我擦得干干净净。可自从微波炉来了以后，女主人常常忘了我 。”

微波炉得意的一笑，说：“火炉大哥你做饭慢，有让主人煤气中毒的危险。还有你——煤气灶，有时忘了关就更危险了。只有我，又省时又不污染环境，烘烤出来的食品味道又好。你们俩看见了吗？今晚上用我烤的面包，小主人吃的多香啊。”

听了微波炉的一番话，火炉和煤气灶虽然不服气，可是又找不出反驳的理由，气的直喘气。

这时旁边的电冰箱开腔了：“这几天我听见男主人与女主人商量再买一台无氟电冰箱，让我也退休呢！我听了虽然难过，可是又一想我在给人们生活带来方便的同时，也污染了环境，就让没有污染的无氟电冰箱来接我的班吧。火炉、煤气灶大哥，你们也不要生气了。也许不就的将来连微波炉小弟弟也要退休吧。”

电冰箱的一番话说的火炉、煤气灶、微波炉心服口服，不住的点头。最后厨房里一片寂静，我也进入甜蜜的梦乡。
