众所周知，献血是一项慈善活动，献血是为了帮助那些病重的人，是一件高尚的事，而小时候的我，却对献血很恐惧。
那天，我跟随爸爸去一中门前的白求恩号献血车上献血。一路上我问了爸爸许多关于献血的问题，知道了，十八岁才能去献血，献血一次最多不要超过四百毫升，等等。我越听越害怕，心想，“如果爸爸一次失去那么多血，会不会晕过去啊？如果爸爸晕过去了，我该怎么办呀？”不知不觉，我们已经来到了采血车前。“怎么办，我不能让爸爸去献血，可是该怎么阻挡住呢？”于是，我便在“白求恩号”前装肚子疼。“哎呀、哎呀，疼死我了，肚子好疼啊！”爸爸见状，马上带我回了家，可一回到家，我的肚子就不疼了。于是，爸爸又要去献血，我哭喊着不让爸爸去。妈妈明白了我的用意，送我回到房间，给我慢慢地解释，她说，爸爸去献血对身体并没有危害，而且还会对身体有好处。渐渐地，我好像明白了一些。
虽然以后爸爸几次献血我都没有阻拦，可我还是对献血有种莫名其妙的恐惧感。
时间在流逝，我也在渐渐长大。记得在小学六年级的一次偶然的机会，我读到了一篇关于无偿献血的文章。其中写着献血是为了帮助那些缺血、失血过多的病人。而且一次献血不超过四百毫升并无大碍，反而会对自己的心脑血管系统有好处；男子献血还会减少癌症的发病率以及促进自己的身体健康。我恍然大悟，原来，爸爸当时去献血是
为了帮助那些病危的可怜的人们。此时，我对自己当初的幼稚行为产生了深深的愧疚和自责。“不知在那时，有多少失血过多的人离开了这个美丽的世界啊!天哪，我真是愚蠢！”随着愧疚和自责的还有我对父亲的敬意，突然感到他是伟大的、是值得我骄傲的！好样的，爸爸！
自从那以后，我便改变了对献血的看法。这世界上还有许许多多像爸爸一样的勇敢者、好心人，相信他们也一定很快乐、自豪。等我长大以后也一定要去献血，帮助一些需要帮助的人。我深信，只要人人献出一点爱，世界将会更加美好！

每当我看到静静地停在繁华商业街上的流动采血车，看见喷在车身上醒目的“无偿献血，人间自有真情在，献出鲜血播下爱”等标语，听到那动人悦耳的《爱的奉献》和《让世界充满爱》的歌曲时，眼前仿佛出现了一个个躺在病床上的人路出了灿烂的笑脸，此刻内心总是激动无比。是啊，是大家的爱心、真情让生命垂危的人又燃起了希望，这能不让人激动吗？虽说“献血”是光荣而又神圣的，但真要去做，真是一件艰难的事。
>我的妈妈是桐乡第一人民医院的一名护士，她经常会在家里说起工作上的事：今天出了一起交通事故，伤者失血很多；42床的病人家里经济很困难；今天一位七十多岁的老人住院了，他的子女不在身边，他没人照顾??每当说起这些，妈妈的脸上总会掠过一丝忧虑??
有一天中午，妈妈一进家门，就急匆匆地说：“中心血库O型血告急，我今天要去献血，杨杨，吃过饭跟我一起去吧！”看着妈妈义无反顾的表情，我知道这一次容不得我阻拦。那天吃过午饭，我和妈妈就出发了，那天我带着内心的疑虑和恐惧第一次踏上了那既熟悉又陌生的大客车。
进入车内，我被里面的景象震惊了：车上有四名采血医护人员，她们个个面带微笑，看到我和妈妈走进车子，立刻送上亲切的问候，我先前的担心一下子减少了许多。我开始“探索”起这个特殊的空间：原本并不是很大的车厢被分成内外两间，虽布置得满满当当，却也显得井然有序——五六个小巧舒适的座椅，五张同样小巧简单的工作台，一台自动饮水机，机旁放着几袋优质奶粉和一大摞卫生纸杯，其中一张工作台上整齐地摆放着一些必备的化验和抽血设备，车厢最后的架子上是供献血者自有选择的几种纪念品，上面写着“无偿献血、奉献爱心、献血光荣”等字样。车子的每一个角落，无不被“爱心”所包围。四名身着白色工作服的医护人员穿行其中，并不时跟前来献血的志愿者温情地打招呼，>唠叨家常。此时我的感觉是：这好像不是与疾病密切相关的场所，而是一个温馨的家。
终于到我妈妈献血了。登记、量血压、抽血、验血型、等化验结果、正式抽血，这便是献血的全过程，医护人员熟练而又一丝不苟地操作着。在等待期间，一名工作人员把那杯已冲调好的牛奶热情地送到妈妈面前，乳白色的牛奶、白色的工作间、洁白的工作服，顿时融为一体，一种圣洁的感觉悄然涌上心头。看到妈妈的脸上也洋溢着笑容，我心里的担心也趟然无存了。当妈妈把那杯牛奶喝完时，验血结果也出来了，按照医生的吩咐我们又到了另一张工作台前，最关键的抽血开始了。
在不经意间，针头已插进了我妈妈的静脉血管，只见暗红色的血液顺着输液管快速地流入了储血袋。为了缓解献血者略显紧张的心情，分散注意力，就在那短暂的两分钟
内，细心的护士还不失时机地给我们宣传献血的好处：献血者在奉献爱心的同时，也改善了自己的身体情况，也是在为自己的健康“>投资”。定量献血（尤其是中年人），可是血液的黏稠度降低，加快血流速度，从而达到预防或缓解高黏血症；对减少心脑血管病的发生也具有积极作用；还可以减少癌症的发生率；对于轻度血压不稳定的患者，能起到调节作用；同时还能促进血液的新陈代谢，增强免疫力，不易衰老，延长寿命??
这时，旁边那位稍年长些的护士打趣道：“一看来献血的人，我就能猜到他的血型，一猜一个准。”说完还得意地扬了杨眉毛。
“吹牛吧，”旁边的一位护士立即予以“回击” ：“那你岂不是快赶上算命先生了？”
“哈哈哈??”笑声充满了整个车子。
这时，我终于忍不住走到一位正在忙着整理工具的护士面前，说：“阿姨，我也想献血。”只见她放下手里的活，转过身来，又摸了摸我的头，微笑着对我说：“小朋友，你真有爱心，真勇敢，真是一个好孩子！阿姨代表所有的医护人员感谢你！可是，你现在年纪还小，不适合献血，等你>长大了再来吧！”
这时，车厢里响起了一阵热烈的掌声??
献血结束了，妈妈拿到了《无偿献血证》。就在这一刻，我不再对献血心存疑虑和恐惧。长大了，我一定要做一个献血倡议者和志愿者，用我们的热血来延续他人的生命，让这份爱与美永驻人间！

However, people’s attitudes towards blood donation, according to a survey conducted recently, differ from person to person. While over half of the surveyed are willing to donate blood without payment, there are still quite many showing their unwillingness and some even take on an indifferent attitude.
Actually, blood donation benefits both the donors and the receivers. For one thing, the little blood donated does little harm to donors but does great good to receivers, which, in most cases, means lives saved. For another, potential risks are likely to fall upon anyone, when those who donate blood without payment have the privilege in return to receive blood for free, which precisely proves what Emerson said.
Personally, I do believe in the power of helping others, and as a member of the society, I will surely do my part to contribute to the social charity. Student as I am, I am willing to donate my blood without payment as well as convince my families and friends to do the same.
