篇一：hero 英语作文

Severus Snape, who is a professor in Hogwarts, is the one I want to recommend as a giant hero.

As Harry Potter puts it, “he is the bravest man I have ever seen.”

However, at the beginning of the story, professor Snape was a disliked character. He had a long black greasy hair which seems haven’t been washed for almost years, wearing a big cloak that make him look like a great bat. And he always spoke in a strange voice and doesn’t lose any chances to embarrass Harry. Because of his preference to Malfoy and his unfair treatment to harry potter, he became the one harry hate most among all the teachers. As he was once a Death Eater and was loyal to Voldemort, he isn’t trusted by his colleagues.

In order to cheat Voldemort to his trust, he killed Dumbledore by himself, just as what Dumbledore had begged him to do. Thus he was blamed for killing his benefactor and was misunderstood by most people. Not until he was dying and let harry read his memory, did he get forgiveness from others and be memorized as a great hero.

As a matter of fact, Severus Snape is double agent, who help to defeat the evil. When he was young, he fall in love with Lily, Harry’s mother. Shortly before Lily was killed by Lord Voldemort, Snape changed sides and became a member of the order of the Phoenix. However, he still heated Harry Potter who looks like his father, James Potter, not only in appearance, but also in the way in which they broke the rules. He describe harry as a Sentimental child forever whining about how bitterly unfair his lives have been. Nevertheless, he protected harry without regrets, just because he still loved Lily and harry have same eyes as his mother.

Snape is lonely. He didn’t get married, let alone he had a son or daughter. No one understood what he had done except for Dumbledore. Unfortunately, the one he loved and the one trust him were died because of him. In another word, he lived the rest of his life in pain.

But he is also brave. He didn’t commit suicide. On the contrary, he became a spy and help justice to defeat evil. He knew he hadn’t completed the assignment Dumbledore left to him. Whether he felt desperate, we don’t know. All we can know is he was loyal to Dumbledore until the last minute.

It is the love for Lily and the gratefulness for Dumbledore that support him to bury the secret in his mind and bear all the critic. Sadly, he was attacked by the Voldemort and didn’t live to receive victory.

As far as I am concerned, the best reward to professor Snape is setting a gravestone which reads:” Go, tell the wizards, Passerby. Here was buried Severus Snape, who was the bravest man in the world.”

She teaches us not only much knowledge but also some skills on how to learn English well. She treats us as her own children. When we are in troubles, she always encourages us to face the difficulties bravely and cheers us up. With her help, I have made great progress in English. So she is respected by me and becomes the important hero in my heart.

In my opinion, a hero must be brave. Liu Wei, the China’s Got Talent Show winner, is a hero in my eyes. He lost his arms in an electric shock. However, although he’s disabled, he can play the piano with his feet, much better than most usual people. What’s more, his bravery also touches me a lot. He manages to use his feet to clean teeth, brush hair and even type on a computer all by himself. He never gives up when he is in such great trouble. Fire! Fire! what terrible words to hear when one wakes up in a strange house in the middle of the night! It was a large, old. wooden house--the sort that burns easily--and my room was on the top floor. I jumped out of bed, opened the door and stepped out into the passage. It was full of thick smoke.

I began to run, but as I was still only halfawake, instead of going towards the stairs I went in the opposite direction. The smoke grew thicker and I could see flames all around. The floor became hot under my bare feet. I found an open door and ran into a room to get to the window. But before I could reach it, one of my feet caught in something soft and I fell dom, The thing I had fallen over felt like a bundle of clothes, and I picked it Llp to protect my face from the smoke and heat.
