This picture portrays an ironic situation: on the road, stands a man, who is completely concentrating on his cellphone whereas using a stick for direction, which implies the unprecedented popularity or even overusing cell phones nowadays.

Exaggerated as the picture is, the phenomenon behind it is rather thought-provoking. With the development of high-tech equipment, especially smart phones, people in growing numbers tend to become addicted to the excessive use of them. According to a survey carried out in China Daily several days ago, almost 47% of citizens explain that they would experience certain kind of anxiety without cellphones at hand. Meanwhile, the overusing cellphones, firstly would exert detrimental impact on the health of us. What's worse, it would perform a negative character in interpersonal relationship since we have less time to communicate.

Judging from the evidence above, certain measures should be taken. Firstly, certain institutions in China should launch relevant campaigns to limit the excessive use of cellphones. Moreover, we, as college students, should put emphasis on it right from ourselves as a start.

The modern technology has greatly altered the mode of communication among people. With the help of the Internet, people can easily contact each other anytime anywhere. However, the side effect is that many people have become over-dependent on the Internet and neglected face-to-face communication.

As far as I'm concerned, electronic communication cannot fully replace the direct contact among people. Although it seems to bring everyone together, it actually estranges people and decreases the effectiveness of communication. A typical example is that, traditionally, people working in the same office simply walk to others and talk. Today, however, co-workers tend to send e-mails or instant messages through the Internet even when they are sitting next to each other. As words can never convey the full message, it usually takes much more time and rounds of conversation than face-to-face communication, in which people can

To conclude, the Internet enables more effective communication in some situations, but over-dependence on it actually pulls people apart.

上午的四级考试，最大的亮点之一，就是写作。亮点在于其命题形式：图画作文。我在北京新东方的面授班（四级写作点睛班）上曾讲解图画作文，分析，在2012年6月16日，六级考察了图画作文，而当时，图画作文出现在六级也是第一次；目前，四级已经考察了图表作文，考研考的题，六级都没有考过；因此这么推论分析，也可能这次四级轮到图画作文了 —— 考研考过，六级考过，就剩你四级了！

图画的内容和构图不难：父亲和男孩子的对话，孩子说“ Dad，I am a bitworried about disposing of nuclear weapon. （爸爸，我有点担心清除核武器这个问题）”，父亲则回答“ If you can empty the dustbin, you can do anything. (如果你能把垃圾桶倒掉，你就能坐好任何事情)” ，说话间，手指着垃圾桶。这幅图画和2012年6月的六级漫画作文非常相似，当时的图中，也是两人对话，女儿和父亲。父亲问女儿：“ Hi, sweetie, how was your school today ? about the relation of internet and education. The pupil, holding a smart-phone in his hand,

questions whether he needs any other education or not, with the mastery of Google.

While the Internet has greatly impacted how to learn, education doesn’t simply means

learning to acquire information because of the following two factors. On one hand,

education is very inclusive, so leaning to obtain message is usually a part of it. If we

overemphasize students’ ability of acquiring information, we will fail to educate the

young to be developed fully. On the other hand, it is only a passive way of learning to

obtain information, which do not parallel to creative thinking that is essential for education.

Thus, while putting emphasis on education, we should cultivate the youngsters’

awareness of obtaining the knowledge in many aspects rather than just by the internet.
