丹霞者,即“色如渥丹、灿若明霞”之意。这里红色的石头,红色的山崖,看去似赤城层层、云霞片片,宛如一方红宝石雕塑园,故被誉为“中国红石公园”。地质地貌学上称之为丹霞地貌,丹霞山就是其命名地。隋唐以来,丹霞山就是岭南风景胜地,列广东国大名山之首;1988年8月1日,丹霞山被国务院批准为国家重点风景名胜区,总面积215k㎡。丹霞山国家重点风景名胜区是以丹霞地貌为主体,丹山-碧水-绿树-田园相辉映,宗教史迹和乡土文化特色浓郁的山水风景名胜区。通过协调生态保护、景观保护与旅游开发之间的关系,推动风景区和周边地区的社会、经济、文化和环境整体的协调、持续发展,将丹霞山建成一个国内一流、世界知名的风景旅游胜地。

DANXIASHAN NATIONAL PARK

Danxia, which can be literally understood as “red sunglow” according to its Chinese meaning, has features with “luster as vermeil and patina as sunglow”. There are red rock and red cliff all over, which seems like virtual red city clusters with filmy red sunglow, thus, it earned its reputation as “ the Red Stone Park of China” and the geological name as Mt. Danxia. Since the Sui and Tang Dynasty, Danxiashan has become a famous place of interest and listed No. 1 in the top four mountains in Guangdong Province. On August 1st, 1988, Danxiashan, with the area of 215 k㎡, was authorized by the National State Council as a National Park.

Danxiashan National Park is based on the landform of Mt. Danxia, which is famous for its red stone, limpid water, verdant trees, peaceful country scenery and unique local religion and culture. On the basis of proper environmental protection, landscape reservation and tourism development, the setup of Danxia National park is for certain to coordinate the sustainable development of local society, economy as well as its culture and environment, which will pave the way for Dansiashan to be recognized as a well-known scenic-tourist place of interest both as a first-class tourist attraction around the country and throughout the world.

丹霞山国家地质公园

丹霞山国家地质公园位于广东省韶关市东北郊,总面积290 k㎡。

在距今1.4亿年到7000万年间,丹霞山区是南岭山脉中的一个山间盆地,称为丹霞盆地,在这里沉积了巨厚的红色岩系。到距今7000万年前后,盆地开始间歇性抬升,流水下切侵蚀,红层被切割成一片红色山群,就是现在的丹霞山。

20世纪30年代,地质学家将类似于丹霞山的赤壁丹崖为特征的红色陆相碎屑岩地貌命名为“丹霞地貌”。在目前国内已发现的600多处丹霞地貌中,丹霞山是面积最大,类型最齐全,造型最丰富,风景最优美的地区之一。经过学者们半个多世纪的努力,丹霞山已经成为全国丹霞地貌的研究基地以及科普教育和教学实习基地。

建立丹霞山国家地质公园,将更好地保护作为丹霞地貌命名地的典型地质地貌遗产,使之能够为人类永续利用,成为全国丹霞地貌的永久科研与科教基地,并对于发展旅游、推动山区经济的持续发展产生长期效益

Danxiashan National Geopark

Dansiashan National Geopark with th earea of 290 k㎡, is located in the northeastern suburban area of the City of Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, PRC.

The current area of Dansiashan used to be a huge inland basin in the Mountain Area of Nanling dating back ot years between 140 million and 70 million years ago, namely the Basin of Nanling, where the deep red bed gradually developed after accumulation of a mass of detrital matters. Around 70 million years ago, the basin intermittently uplifted, leaving the basin intensively down-cut and eroded by water flows, which finally developed into the landform of Danxiashan Mountain at present and is named as Mt. Dnxiashan.

In 1930’s, the landform characteristic of non-marine red clastic rock, red walls and red cliffs was named by geologists Danxia Landform. Among the more than 600 places of Danxia Landform found so far in China, the Danxia Landform in Danxiashan areas is one of the places with the largest area, the most complete types, the richest modeling and the splendid scenery.

With the research of more than half a century by scholars, Mt. Danxiashan has become the base for the research into Danxia Landform of China as well as the base for scientifical education of th epublic, and practice teaching.

The setup of the Danxiashan National Geopark is in favor of protecting thje precious geological and geomorphologic heritage and attaining its sustainability to serve humans. On the basis of orderly development as well as effective protection, this park can certainly play the role as the permanent base for scientific research and education, and at the same time as an incentive of promoting the sustainable development of local tourism and economy.

DANXIASHAN GLOBAL GEOPARK

The Global Geoparks are referred to those national areas that in possession of attribute as unique significance of geology, precious geological heritage and outstanding aesthetic value, which have important comparable significance and value for scientific research of the history of global geology, important geological incidents and its shape process, as well as outstanding significance of education and tourism.

The Danxiashan, where the name of Mt. Danxia came from, has some special features, such as its uniqueness, plurality, unsubstituability as well as the role of representative of all its counterparts, which make it as the famous representative of Mt. Danxia. Up till now, the scientific research of the Danxiashan on the stratum, formation, physiognomy, development and the evolution of natural environment has achieved an very in-depth and specific level on the research of the Mt. Danxia, and general education and practice.

ON February 13th, 2004, Danxiashan was successfully authorized by the UNESCO to be on of the First set of Global Geopark, which paved the way for Danxiashan to the great of aim one of the most well-known mountains around the globe. The Danxiashan of tomorrow will certainly be a st-class global geopark with the geological heritage, the ecological enbironmentand the regional culture being well-preserved, while the local soviety and economy sustainably developed.

丹霞地貌命名志

丹霞地貌是以赤壁丹崖为特征的红色陆相碎屑岩地貌。命名于岭南名山丹霞山。丹霞山由红色陆相砂砾岩构成,因其山石“色如渥丹,灿若明霞”而得名。公元二十世纪三十年代,著名地质学家陈国达教授将华南地区的红色砂砾岩石峰群以丹霞山为名而称其为“丹霞地形”。五十年代因与国际术语衔接而改称“丹霞地貌”,成为被地学界广泛认可的一种特殊地貌类型。在曾昭璇、黄进等为代表的几代学者努力之下,丹霞地貌研究已发展成地貌学的一个分支学科,丹霞山因些成为地球上丹霞地貌对比形容的基地。丹霞地貌多以其特殊的风景价值而成为旅游用地,丹霞山则是其典型代表。

THE ANNAL OF NAMING DANXIA LANDFORM (AFTER MT. DANXIASHAN)

Danxia Landform is made up of non-marine red clastic rocks and characterized by red walls and red cliffs. It was named after the famous mountain in Lingnan----Mt. Danxiashan. Mt. Danxiashan is made up of non-marine red clastic rocks and was given such a name because the mountains have features with “luster as vermeil and patina as sunglow”. In the 1930’s, Prof. Cheng Guoda, the experienced geologist, named the red sandy rock stone peaks in South China Danxia Landform after Mt. Danxiashan. In the 1950’s, the term was changed into Danxia Geomorphology in order to connect with the international standard, making it one peculiar geomorphology that is widely accepted by international academic circles.

With the efforts of generations of scholars, represented by Zen Zhaoxuan, Huang Jin and so on, the research on Danxia Landform has developed into one of the branches

of geomorphology. As a result, Mt. Danxiashan has become the base for the comparable research into Danxia Landform in the world. Swarms of places of Danxia Landform have become famous scenic areas with their peculiar value of landscape, among which Mt. Danxiashan is the very representative.

丹霞山

正月初三,我们一家人来到韶关市,到举世闻名的国家级自然保护区 ——丹霞山游玩。我欣喜万分。期待着舵石云海、丹霞日出的到来。

丹霞山绿树成阴,茂密的枝叶一层一层的,放眼望去,就像绿色的海洋。就算在炎热的夏天,你走进去也会觉得清凉无比!树阴下空气清新,游人走过,一定会觉得心旷神怡,精力充沛,仿佛置身于一个天然的大氧吧。

首先乘坐缆车来到绿树成阴的山顶灌丛,茂密的枝叶一层一层的,放眼望去,就像绿色的海洋。丹霞山有许多著名的景点,“五指山”就是其中之一。五座山峰紧紧相连,傲然耸立,犹如五根巨大的手指直插云霄,十分壮观。山上有几个亭子,从远处看,又像五个少女戴着发夹,傲然挺立

而我最喜欢的景点是“一线天”。“一线天”由两座非常高大的山峰相向而成。人在峰间穿过,抬头向上望,只看到一条缝一样细的天空,“一线天”由此得名。“一线天”两旁的石壁上悬挂着许多蝙蝠,有时游人从下面通过,不小心惊动了它们,它们就会一群一群地从“一线天”蜂拥而出,转眼间就消失得无影无踪。

二、 教材分析:

1. 教学内容:人教版教材 九年级 Unit7 where wound you like to visit ?

2. 学生情况分析

本节课的授课对象是笔者学校实行因材施教九年级普通班学生,该层次学生的英语水平较低,考试平均成绩均在40多分(试卷总分为120分),英语口头和笔头表达能力相当薄弱。这就要求在任务型教学中,教师应恰当地提供更多的帮助。

三、教学目标:

写作技能目标:

在学习完Unit 7 Where would you like to visit ?之后,通过学习旅游和度假的文章,掌握用英语写游记的基本技能。

学习策略目标:

1、指导学生学会欣赏游记,并能模仿写出自己的旅游经历及体会

2、 培养学生使用工具书的技能,促进写作水平的提高。

情感目标:

提高学生的业余生活质量,欣赏美丽河山,热爱和保护自然,同时加强情感交流。

四、教学重点与难点:

1、如何做好阅读与写作的衔接。

2、对学生模仿游记的评论与评价。

五、教学过程:

Pre-writing

Activity 1 show the students some sentences from the reading in this module to remind them of the travel experience Wang Wei and Wang Kun

Activity 4 Put the ideas into sentences and then into passages

1 First,ask the students to write down some sentences about their climbing ,ask them to make out an outline ,topic sentences of the paragraphys, and some key words and phrases. They can also combine the answers to the above questions and then revise them with the advice from others.

2 Next, get the students to put their sentences in order, and share their writing with their partners.

(Before getting the students to start , remind them of the differences between the diary and a journal )

3 Then ,students write the travel journey ,using linking words and relative pronouns.

While carrying this work ,the teacher may walk around the students to give some help when necessary.
