Nowadays, everyone in modern society faces the keen competition. We have to try to be prefect. However, what abilities are playing an importance role of the university student?

First, it is vital for us to cultivate good qualities and cultures. Only in this way can you win good friends and improve your interpersonal relationship. As we all know, good interpersonal relationship can help you a lot, not only influence your school life, but also your future careers. Thus, the ability of communication that, in some sense, is more important than knowledge.

Secondly, sprit is important to a man. When you come across difficulty, you need to keep the faith and confident, so that you can over come the trouble.

Third, you need to become a person who is full of creative, and you should think independently and critically as well as learn to become a man, an integrated man, who can take on important task

Finally, we should make good use of what we have learnt and use them in our daily life. Such as the communication skills, English speaking skills or English writing skills and so on.

We should be award of the meaning of study and treasure this opportunity.

如今，在这个现代的社会所有人都面对着激烈的竞争。我们不得不尝试做得更完美。然而，对于我们大学生，什么样的能力起着关键性作用呢？

第一， 对我们来说，最重要的是培养良好的品质和文化修养。只有这样我们才能获得很多好的朋友，并且提高你的人际关系。我们都知道，好的人际关系能够帮助你许多，不仅仅是影响你的校园生活，并且会影响你未来的职业生涯。因此，沟通能力，在某种程度上，比知识还要重要。

第二， 精神对一个人来说是重要的。当你遇到困难时，你需要坚信自己和保持自信，以便你能够克服困难。

第三， 你需要成为一个有创造力的人。而且，你要有独立和辩证的思考能力。同时学着如何成为一个真正的正直的，能够承担重要任务的男人。

最后，我们应该在日常生活中充分地利用我们学过的知识。例如，沟通能力，英语口语能力或者英语书写能力等等。

我们应该了解到学习的意义并且要珍惜这个机会。

怎样与他人相处？How to Get Alone with Others?

As we know, students should learn how to get on well with others. But how?

First of all, we should respect others. Everybody has their own way to do things, so we should understand each other. Besides, it’s important for us to communicate with each other and share our happiness and sadness. What’s more, we should be kind to others and offer necessary help to those who are in trouble. If we live in the school’s dormitory, we should be careful not to disturb others. Don’t bring friends back to the dormitory in the mid-night after all the roommates are sleeping. Or playing computer games with the music turn up so loud. Such behaviors will hurt the relationships between you and your roommates.

我们都知道，学生应该学会与人相处。但是该怎样做呢？

首先，我们应该相互理解体谅对方。除此之外，和他人分享我们的喜怒哀乐也是很有必要的。我们还要对他人友善，为他人提供必要的帮助。如果我们住在学校里面，就要注意不要打扰到他人。不要在午夜时分舍友睡觉的时，把朋友带回来。或者是大声的开着音乐玩电脑。这种行为会伤害到你与舍友之间的关系。

In my opinion, we should treat others in an honest ways and try our best not to disturb others. Do not offend others. Only in these ways can we get along well with the others.

在我看来，我们应该真诚的对待他人，尽量不打扰他人，不冒犯他人。只有这样，我们才能与他人好好相处下去。

几天后，总经理得意洋洋地说：“昨晚我发现，新秘书床上功夫比我老婆强！”

4、有一次在路上被一只大狗盯上，我就跑，越跑越追，这时身后狗主人喊道：蹲下！ 我想是不是狗害怕人蹲下这个动作，就蹲下。果然狗没有追上来。

转脸一看，狗蹲在了后边。

Friendship is a kind of human relations. It is a human instinct to make friends.When in trouble, we

need friends to offer us help, support and encouragement. With success achieved, we also need friends to share our joys.

5. Keeping Pets

There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals’ world and develop positive feelings toward them.

Others, however, hold the opposite view. They regard keeping pets as a useless but harmful thing to do. First, pets can transmit diseases. Secondly, the noises and dung of pets are sources of pollution. Last but not least, as many rare birds and animals are kept as pets, they will surely be hunted on a large scale, which means a threat to the balance of the ecosystem.

Weighing the arguments of both sides, I am inclined to agree with the latter. Anyway, we can lessen our loneliness and express our love toward animals in other ways. And it is my belief that only by placing man and other species on an equal basis can we expect to have a lively and colorful world.
