In our village(在我们的乡村里),there are about 1000 people(大约有1000人).They are all kind and friendly(他们都是慈祥的和友好的).Autumn is a harvest season(秋天是收获的季节).Most of the farmers do the farm work in the fields(许多的农民在田地里干农活).Our hometown is famous for pears(我们的家乡因为梨而出名).In autumn(在秋天里),a lot of businessmen come here to buy pears(许多商人来这里买梨).

My Hometown

My hometown is a village in Jiangxi province, located in south china.

It’s a beautiful place with distinct weather of the four seasons. My town has subtropical climate what I like most is spring of it, having a lot of rain and watering all plants and animal. Neither it’s hot, nor cold.

People there are warmth, honest and diligent. The convention of their masters were observed for ages , living in house made by wood and earth ,walking through the track of farmland . Everybody is living a well-off life both in psychology and physics.

Many places of interest can be enjoyed at my land, just as the delicious food . You can see YU DAI QIAO bridge, SONG tower and eat as much navel orange as you can.

In a word, the air, the trees, the people are all what I love.

When it comes to our hometowns, we always have too much to talk about in virtue of the pride in our hometowns. I, without exception, am proud of my hometown.

Shanghai, where I was born, is one of the most dynamic metropolises in Chine of much vitality. It is a commerce-oriented city that new developments pop up like mushrooms. Located on the middle part of East China, Shanghai is a gateway to the Yangtze River Delta and a center for international exchange.

Shanghai is a necessity on any agenda during a tour of China on account that when walking along the Shanghai Nanjing Road, one of the most prestigious streets in China, people are able to indulge themselves in the unique Shanghai culture, a combination of Chinese and Western elements.

The Bund, which is honored of the International Architecture Exposition, is a necessity for tourist in Shanghai. Facing The Bund across the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, as a token of Shanghai, is the highest piece of architecture in Shanghai.

However, the European-style skyscrapers are not the only feature Shanghai presenting.

Among the numerous Town God's Temple, Shanghai Chenghuang City Temple, with its long history and magnificent architecture, has a good reputation both at home and abroad.

Located in Huangpu District, Yu Garden shows the architectural style of the classic garden in China, which was once a private garden in the Ming Dynasty.

Shanghai has more than 150 so-called science education bases around the city including museums, parks and activity centers. Many of the venues are free although some charges an inexpensive entry fee. Here are 10 museums with unique features. They combine knowledge with fun activities to enhance the learning experience.

Annually held in June, Shanghai International Film Festival is the world's most eye-catching festival for movie fans all over the world. As a movie fanatic, I never miss the chance of enjoying the movies of various cultures. With the booming film market in Shanghai, S. I. F. F has become a symbol of culture life in Shanghai.

What's more, as Shanghai Disneyland is set to open in 2015 and a high-end duty-free center opens around the same time in Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, so is the free trade zone in line with the local government's call for a transformation of economic development, which will focus more on boosting domestic consumption.

Without dispute, Shanghai anticipates to catering to the interests of people across the world. Diverse cultures coexist in this magic land. Hence, it will be a melting pot like America. Shanghai whose vigor, diversification and modernization will eternally branded in my memory lives within my heart.

My Hometown- Cangzhou

My hometown is Cangzhou, which is located in Hebei Province. It has been founded in the Southern and Northern Dynasties period.

My hometown is historically famous for martial arts, many people love it,

in order to keep fit, we dong exercise as a important part in our daily life. In the evening, you can see a lot of people walking in the street or dancing in the square, especially in summer. Besides martial arts, Wuqiao

County in Cangzhou is famous for acrobatics. Chinese acrobatics has a very long history and is an excellent and precious cultural legacy of the Chinese nation, People in Wuqiao today, young or old, often possesses astonishing acrobatic ability. It is no wonder that the county has produced many of the most famous acrobats. Wuqiao performers can be found in acrobatic troupes throughout China and across the world. When Premier Zhou Enlai visited European countries, he found Wuqiao acrobats nearly each time he met with overseas Chinese. He said happily, “Wuqiao is really worth the title of 'home of Chinese acrobatics'.”

And what’s more, it is also well-known for its historic thousand-year-old 40-ton sculpture, the Iron Lion of Cangzhou. The sculpture is the largest cast-iron sculpture in the world, cast in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The lion is a symbol of the city, and Cangzhou is also known as “Lion City”.

Cangzhou's urban center is a heavily industrial city but the city's administrative territory also includes strongly agricultural areas, and is renowned in China for its Chinese jujube fruits. The North China Oil Field is within Cangzhou City's jurisdiction. Cangzhou also encompasses a large fishing port and the modern, coal-exporting Huanghua Harbour.

Cangzhou, though predominated by the Han Chinese majority, is home to a sizable population of the Muslim Hui minority.

Cangzhou is a beautiful city, and I love my hometown.
