Walking on the campus, you’ll find luxuries are not far away for students. Some wear CK clothes and some carry LV bags. According to an online survey conducted by Tencent in May this year, there are 37 percent students claiming to have a certain luxury.

On the basis of the survey, the way of obtaining luxuries is quite different. Some students get them from their parents, as their families are(来自:www.Zw2.cn 爱 作文 网) in good financial condition. Some take part-time jobs to buy luxuries by themselves. For example, a college student named Xiao Mei said she worked as a tutor for three months in order to get a bottle of Dior perfume. As for me, I object to students’ using luxuries. It is known that luxuries are notable for their super prices. However, students are not economically independent and their attention should be paid to study. In this sense, using luxuries is improper

for students.

My view on the Luxuries

The trade and spending on luxuries become much more usual and common than before in big cities of China. It seems that people would like to spend their money on expensive and well-known brands without knowing whether the product is really worth. The price of a wallet or a watch or a luggage speaks louder than its quality. Some people would save his salary and live a very simple life for 3 months only to buy a very expensive watch which is not very match his age. Can you imagine a 23 years old man wears a watch that cost all his 3 months’ salary? That’s crazy.

I think the most important reason is growing vanity. Luxuries always show themselves with diamonds, gold and silver and very good looking things. Advertisements always introduce luxuries with famous actors or actresses, good cars and beautiful lady. Everything around the luxury is perfect. That makes people think that using luxuries means someone is a rich man. That makes people feel joyful and successful. People would say,

“Hey, look at that watch, it’s Rolex!” If someone says something like that, it really makes the person who wears a Rolex feel he is admirable.

I think luxuries are for rich people. If you are not rich, I do not think it’s a good idea for you to buy luxuries, especially in China. It’s quite a lot of money that you can buy a cheap car instead of buying a nice Louis Vuitton. Success is not judged by fortune and using luxuries or not, it should be judged by your experience and what you got. If you cannot afford a luxury, you can spend your money on something really helpful and important for your life.

勿把抢跑当真理

人生的赛跑，往往没有发令枪，什么时候跑，全凭个人准备与判断。抢跑者在众人各就各位之时率先起跑，往往容易寻得先机。这样的抢跑对于个人来说，无疑是有利的。但是，当大家都抢跑的时候，那人生的跑道岂不是混乱不堪。此时，也就无所谓比赛，因为比赛早已经因为太多人的抢跑而宣布结束。

对抢跑的推崇源于我们对成功的过度渴求。这也难怪，中国人饿怕、穷怕，也落后怕了，一穷二白的过去让我们顿生追赶时代的紧迫感。在这样的心态下，抢跑就成了一种常态。于是，你抢跑，我也抢跑，大家都唯恐落后于人，因为我们深知“落后就要挨打”。这是一个民族在饱受苦难后的心理反弹，这也是一个民族从落后走向先进的必经之路。别人在发展的路上已经奔跑了几百年，而我们就曾经观望了几百年，不抢跑，如何追赶得上？于是，这几十年我们一直在抢跑，也尝到了抢跑的甜头，在规则尚未成为共识之时，在“弱肉强食”还是生存的丛林法则之时，确实，唯有抢跑才能占得先机，没有人会停下来等你，你不抢跑，机会就会稍纵即逝。我们已经不能再等，“一万年太久，只争朝夕”！

不停地抢跑，于是，GDP开始跃升为全球第二；北上广高楼林立，旧貌换新颜；我们的腰包也已日益鼓胀，开始用“土豪金”来炫示我们的富有。但是，盲目的抢跑在GDP一路飙升的同时，也令不少城市陷入了重复建设的漩涡，高房价背后是一座又一座空置的“鬼城”；北上广的发展一日千里之时，也是雾霭笼罩日益加重之时。因为我们在过分强调抢跑的同时，却忘记了调整奔跑的姿势。当我们拿着大把的钞票到国外像买白菜一样抢购高档奢侈品的时候，人家只会说我们是暴发户，而不是贵族，因为我们全无规则与责任可言。就连我们早已习惯成自然的“中国式过马路”也成为了别人调侃我们的笑料。我们无视生命地抢跑，只为了抢先一步到达对面的那一条街市，但稍有不慎，这抢跑的一步就有可能是人生路上的最后一步。

所以，当规则尚未建立，当生存也是一个问题的时候，看准时机，适时抢跑，未尝不可。但如果一味地抢跑，把抢跑当作常态、信条，甚至把抢跑当作是取得成功的唯一途径，就会衍生出急功近利，为达目的而不择手段的浮躁、扭曲的心态。一个人如果胆大妄为，对这个世界毫无敬畏可言，这也是相当可怕的。古希腊历史学家希罗多德曾说过：“上帝欲使其灭亡，必先使其疯狂。”而今天不停抢跑的我们正处于疯狂之中。时至今日，我们已经抢跑了几十年，是该到了以一名运动员的身份，而不是无赖、土豪的做派，去参加即将开始的新竞赛。遵守规

则、履行责任、养精蓄锐、全神贯注，当发令枪一响，就如猎豹一样，脱颖而出，并且还要不断地调整奔跑的姿势，只有这样，我们才能以更自信的姿态去追逐我们的中国梦，去实现中华民族的伟大复兴。

我们的路绝非百米，丢掉抢跑的侥幸心理，用实力来证明我们的强大！
