Job Description:
Work under the direction of the Dining Hall Executive Manager.Be responsible for oversight of all aspects of food production,including staff supervision and training,food purchasing,food quality and sanitation standards.Other responsibilities include proper use of computerized food program,maintaining budgeted food and labor costs,and planning special events.Conduct daily meetings with the kitchen staff and participate in required the City University Dining Services
meetings.Be self-motivated and energetic and able to work in a team environment with the entire staff of the university dinind service department.
Requirements:
Catering certificate is essential.Minimum of five years kitchen management and experience in developing a quality food program.Ability to effectively lead,motivate and train a kitchen
staff.Excellent verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills are critical.Health and hygienic certificate is also desirable.
Salary Range:
$35,000-$60,000p.a.
