Some Feelings About English Writing
I am a college student, here I want to share some small feeling that I’ve got after about 8 years’ English writing.
It seems that writing becomes a headache for me when given a writing task under time restrain and certain topic, I’ve heard that many of classmates have the same problem. In this situation I always became so nervous that my head becomes blank, or I feel that my thought is locked under a certain topic. Usually, my writing in an exam ended up with some contents irrelative rigged together. It’s so awful that usually I get a low mark on my composition. When I write something I want to express in English during other time, it seems that there are lots of things to express, thoughts are just flying. I am free and relaxed at this time. I think firstly we should try to relax ourselves, don’t think a lot about the topic. Think of something which has touched your very souls. Maybe you’ll find that there are lots of things which could show the topic clearly. Just write about our true feelings might attract those people who have the same feeling as us in life. Diverge your thoughts!
When I have written too much about true feelings in life , I find that my thoughts become exhausted. For I’m a lazy person, I don’t like read, I’m always do daytime dreams when I’m free. Writing becomes more and more difficult as there are limited thoughts for me to diverge. Then a friend of mine gave me a good suggestion. She told me to go to the library and read books rich in information in order to make my head sufficient of all kinds of information. I thought that her idea was very helpful. So I do as what she has told me. This is the second time that I find there are lots of things to write about. I get to know that there is no input , there is no output. I don’t know when my thoughts will come exhausted again, there are many other methods to improve writing. We need to improve our learning attitude and method for all the time.
